Hardcore Fitness Maniac Hotties for 10/27

I'm not going to post my meals for a while. I'm not really eating anything different and my goals have changed. Now that it's cold out I am going to bulk up again and then when spring hits I will lean out and then post my eats. Right now I will range from 1800-2200 calories a day and I will be ignoring the carb intake. I figure as long as I eat clean I can't do too much damage. :p

You guys are killin' me! I thought I was eating a lot today. I did eat more about an hour and a half ago. I had one of those tuna snack packs - tuna, relish, reduced calorie mayo (but I didn't use the whole package) and 6 crackers. I will probably have to quit eating these when they're all gone (I have 5 left) because they are not the greatest nutrionally. When I was eating next to nothing it didn't matter so much. They have 240 calories, 80 from fat, 650mg of sodium!!!, 9g of fat, 20 carbs, 18g of protein. I guess they're not super terrible but I can do better. In a little while I'll have a small banana (I know, 2 in one day isn't that great) and some almonds.

Diane Sue - I would love to post a pic of her in a few places in my house, but I wouldn't want DH to get too excited! :p Just kidding. I don't think she's his type. I'm sorry you have an upset stomach. Was it the donut? Grandparents day sounds like fun!

Char - I don't know - I might like that Halloween candy frozen better than not.

Ok, just poppin in again to say my new fav snack-O-the-week is edamame in the single serving bowls from Costco!

Suz - buy the tuna packed in water, and low sodium. Then put together your own thing. I would only use full fat mayo - a little goes a long way and it is all natural.

Dallys - I bought some and then forgot I had them and then we bought 3/4 of a cow (how sad does that sound? :() and I ended up having to throw the box away b/c I needed the room and they were kinda old and I was sick of them but now they sound good again!

Shana - I actually tried that with canned tuna and relish and I think ff Miracle Whip and low fat Ritz crackers and YUCKY!!! Maybe I'll try your way. :)

Hey maniacs, been stuck in staff development all day with my teachers...UGH! I would much rather spend the day with the kids!

Debbie...your #'s are always impressive. Some day I'll get there....or not, let's be realistic:)

Suz, you are killin me girl!!!! Can't believe that is all you eat! But I feel ya, I am looking to add mucsle and I know I need to eat about 400 caloreis more a day. It's hard. I eat 5-6 small meals a day and I'm not hungry..so what's a girl to do?

Dally's...great pic! Lucky you! What fat??????? You crazy girl! BTW...I love edemame, thanks for sharing!

Hi to everyone else. Great workouts. Heading home to do mine now....PUB!

I am back from picking up the girls. I stopped at the bank and then got some stuff for my stomach. Just had some dinner and maybe I can go do something in a bit or I'll just hold off till tomorrow. I didn't sleep well last night because I kept finding over the weekend that I could not use my ATM Visa. Today I found out they locked it because someone using the name greater harvest mission was trying to get money from my account. I guess they were alerted when there was repeated attempts. Anyway now I have to wait for a new card to come. Makes things inconvenient and it was annoying when I went to pay for my haircut yesterday. But, I get a new one and I am getting a pink Komen Cure one:D I think the Donut and coffee this morning just sent my reflux and already upset stomach over the edge.

Dallys, I hate shelling the endame from the pods. I have bought it before and would shell a few at a time and put them in my salad or mix with other veggie dishes. I found a mix at Walmart that has endame in it that is not in the shell. Some of those Candy bars get so hard though I think I would break my crowns or something if I tried to eat them. Plus if you start to eat one frozen it takes longer to eat it and you may have time to think about finishing it:) LOL on the skittles and nerds. I have bought candy I didn't care for (I like skittles) but the poor grandchildren didn't like it to much either. Tried making candy apples and popcorn balls before at dd's urging since she reminded me I did it for them every year. The grandchildren didn't care for them that much:0 I think my kids ate the stuff for them LOL

Suz, I am picky about my Tuna. I only eat the white albacore in water form the cans. Never crackers. I like to mix it with some smoke flavored mustard. I always put it in a large strainer and rinse it first. Sometimes I mix a whole can with a package of the green giant healthy weight veggie mix. It has a sauce but only 2.5 grams fat if you eat half a box. This one has endame in it along with black beans, sugar snap peas and carrots. It makes a quick meal when I am in a hurry and don't feel like doing a lot of prep work.

Speaking of tuna in the can. I've been eating salmon in the can/pouch and I spread a lf Laughing Cow cheese wedge and that over some melba (the best)or wasa toast. Very good that way.

WD- I usually buy edamame without the pod for salads and things, but with these pods already in the bowl thingies, I just zap in the microwave then add a little salt, pop the whole thing in my mouth and pull the pod out as my teeth grab the beans, lol. It's good when you are in a mindless snacking mood (like when I'm on the computer:rolleyes:), because it takes time, so you don't eat as much.

Meow- I like real mayo too. I just need a touch of it for flavor.

Sonya- I'm like that too. Sometimes it's just hard to eat another meal when I'm just not hungry.

Suz- Sad about the 3/4 cow, darnit! :( I know it's much better to buy that way than buying meat that's mixed with a gazillion cows though. One day I'll go veggie, you wait and see!

Dallys - I just am not much of a salmon person but do like tuna in the pouches too. Is the salmon good? Well, obviously it's good if you eat it - ha ha - but I mean is it fishy? How does it compare to tuna?

I don't eat nearly enough either - eating nuts helps. I like them and they are full of good stuff.

The Naked Chef -Jamie Oliver - (I mean, how could you not watch a show called that!) makes his own mayo. It seemed really quick to do but I don't see myself doing it for as little as I eat. Just read the label and get the cleanest you can get.

Okay, well I guess I'm glad I haven't posted what I was eating before this!!! If you think this was nothing... Sonya and Shana, maybe we can up our calories together!

Diane Sue - That sounds like a healthier option with the tuna than the crackers. I'll have to look for that. Is it just with the salad mixes? I hope your stomach is feeling better.

Dallys - I actually bought some salmon so I should start eating that too. It's supposed to be really good for your skin - like firms it up good. And I think you're a Flexitarian. I think it was Shana??? who used that word the other day and then I saw the Flexitarian Diet book at Barnes & Noble the other night. The beef is just a lot leaner and it's locally raised so it doesn't have all the hormones, etc. And it's a lot cheaper too.

Shana - I don't know why I even use the mayo b/c I got some on my finger so I licked it off (I know, so refined I am) and I HATE the taste!

Sonya - I meant to say what wonderful parents you have to adopt all of those children they did. Wow! That is really something special. You are really blessed. And they are blessed to have you too!

Dallys - How do you cook your sweet potatoes so that you can have them "at the ready"? I remember you had some little trick but I don't remember now what it was. I bought a bunch and I'm ready. :)

I ate 1,796 calories today! And I did it all eating clean! I found a website that calculates the calories, carbs, protein and fat for pretty much any food item so I've been calculating my meals then saving them in a journal since I tend to eat the same meals...that way I have the info. The website is healthyweightforums.com

I added in the 20# for a bonus!!!!! Felt good!

Meow...I love salmon! Actually any fish. It's so good for you. I'm like Diane Sue, I eat the albacore in water. Usually wrap it in w/g tortilla with hummus, lettuce and cucumber slices.

Diane Sue...Ugh! about the ATM card. At least your bank was alert. Hope you are feeling better!

Suz...you're sweet. I know I got the better end of the deal to be adopted by such wonderful people!

BTW...my mom came through her procedure just fine and is doing well! :)
