Hardcore Finess Maniacs for week of 4-22

I did a Coardio Coach mix that I made up which consisted of the 2 - 8 minute treks, the 10 - alternating hills/springs and the last challenge was 5 - 1 minute sprints. It was a tough one, I don't think I've done this mix too often. I had an excellent workout and hope I burned some of the thousands of calories I ate this weekend.

CARDIO STATS:
63 minutes total
3 minutes below zone
19 minutes in zone
42 minutes above zone
547 calories burned
3.5 miles traveled

3 1/2 miles! I was happy about that.

Today's workout will be P90X2 Shoulders and arms, HardStrikes Conditioning drills, heavybag tabata's, and stretch , and Combat Core Attack. I am still working on the rest of the week. I am planning on doing Plyocide tomorrow so keeping the cardio a little less impact today.

I got my workout in. P90X2 shoulders and arms 54 min, 337 calories, Hardstrikes conditioning drills, heavy bag tabatas, and stretch 29 min, 225 calories, Combat Core Attack, 17 min, 97 calories. Total time 1 hr 42 min, 659 calories.

Debbie, way to go on the calorie burn and mileage:D I kind of figured that I would have gained weight with all of the food I ate while out of town but surprisingly I lost a couple of pounds.

Roselyn, nice workout choices.

I think I am changing plyocide to another day. I will do the p90x2 chest, back, and balance. I have to go for an abdominal ultrasound in the morning so no food and I am guessing no drink.

This morning I did P90X2 Chest, back and balance, 59 min, 272 calories. I forgot how difficult this was. Pull up/chin up variationa and balancing, plyo push ups with med balls and stability ball. I have to get ready to head over for my ultrasound. I may do some yoga when I get back.

I came home and did Chalean Extreme Dynamic Flow Yoga 39 min, 170 calories with 1# gloves.

No workout yesterday, I had an early morning seminar my boss and I put on so I had to go in early.

Today I did Cardio Coach #6 with Candace. I don't know what it is with running lately, but I'm loving it. I had a great workout. I probably should have lifted some weights, but didn't feel like it.

CARDIO STATS:
60 minutes total
8 minutes below zone
19 minutes in zone
35 minutes above zone
506 calories burned
3.1 miles traveled

Diane Sue - You make me mad! You can eat bad and lose weight. That is not fair! LOL!

Today I did P90X2 Plyocide, 54 min, 375 calories. I then did P90X2 Ab Ripper 17 min, 91 calories. I finished with Turbo Fire Lower body 20 class, 21 min, 113 calories. Total time was 92 min and calories burned 581.
So far the rest of the week will be:
Thursday- Athletic Step Jam including the ball segment
Friday- P90X2 Base and Back 56 min, Cathe's Hiit 40/20
Saturday- One of the premixes on Cathe's ride, X train Biceps and Triceps, and core #1
Monday- P90X2 P.A.P. Lower. I think this has a lot of plyo lower in it if I remember right along with some high step and weights and med ball in between. 62 min, and Combat 30
Tuesday- P90X2 P.A.P. Upper 53 min, Combat Core Attack, Sharon Twombly Zero to 60 premix 30 all intervals

Debbie, nice work. I think if I ate bad all of the time it would catch up with me eventually :)

Today alarm went off and I did not get out of bed, I think my body said not today, sister! So I took an unscheduled rest day.

Did I miss something Diane Sue? What are you getting ultrasound for?

Great schedule worked up

Roselyn, I discovered a grape size lump showing up mid abdominal area. I just happened to walk by a mirror and the light shined across it. I decided I should have it checked out immediately. I feel fine. No pain or anything. It is just sort of odd. I went to visit friends and family. My daughter took a small cyst off of my back and that is why the removal of stitches. While I was there I scheduled an appointment with my doctor. And, while I am typing my doctor called and said they did not see anything in the ultrasound. She said she could schedule with a surgeon to check it out but, we agreed to wait. I just discovered it and if there are any changes then we will check into it further. Makes me happy. I was afraid it was going to be another barrage of tests which I hate. Really I am feeling fine. Workouts are great. Thanks for asking.

I did nothing today. TTOM again and it is hitting me hard. I got up, but just couldn't get my butt in my workout room. I read the current book I'm reading instead. It's pretty good, it's called "Into the Darkest Corner."

I hate when my workouts suffer due to how I'm feeling. This stuff never bothered me before. The older I get the worse it's getting. :(

Diane Sue - I'm glad they didn't find anything either, but keep an eye on it! {{{HUGS}}}

This morning I did Sharon Twombly's Athletic Step Jam entire workout including the stability ball and the abs. 1hr 43min, max hr 163, 905 calories. I have always got a great calorie burn from this workout. I felt I needed something since yesterday was lunch out and today I am going with a friend to lunch.

Debbie and Roselyn, thanks. Thanks to a suggestion from a friend I am keeping a folder and pictures in my cell phone of the lump so I can compare.

Debbie, is it a mystery? Right now I am reading a book called Cold Fury that is book one of a trilogy. It is pretty good. I bought it for my granddaughter but, proof read a lot of stuff before I pass it along.

Today was cardio and I chose Cardio Coach #1. Fast, easy workout. I did well with it and pushed myself hard.

CARDIO STATS:
40 minutes total
6 minutes below zone
11 minutes in zone
23 minutes above zone
332 calories burned
2 miles traveled

I'm so glad it's FRIDAY!

Diane Sue - It's about a woman who is abused by her husband. She leave him but he's trying to find her to kill her. Something like that. It's really good.

This morning's workout was P90X2 base and back, 55 min, 312 calories. I then did High Intensity Hiit 40/20, 30 min, 282 calories. I finished with 100 rep scarecrows 5 min, 23 calories. I skipped one of the rests. Time was 90 min and calories burned 616.

Debbie, that sounds like an interesting book. It makes me think of a movie that I believe had Julia Roberts in it?? The book I am reading is about a girl that on her 16th birthday goes home and the whole family is gone and she is left with things that people want and are after her. It is kind of a mob story with some mystery to it.

I love to read too, have you guys read Gone Girl? That was a good book, I also read some by this author Kate Morton, kind of mystery tied around families and secrets all very good. Just got one from the library by Jody Picoult called The Storyteller, I don't get People magazine but my mom-in-law does and i sometimes get the books they recommend.

Oh today was cardio and abs I did Combat warrior and stability abs from KPC.
