Hardcore Extreme Workout #2 - step height?

What do you recommend doing for step height in this workout since the video keeps changing back and forth between 6" and 8". Has anyone just paused the DVD and changed their step? I like the 8" for the low imoact section since it makes the workout more challenging, yet it is too high to do all the jumps on and off the step safely for the high impact segments.
 
HCE#2 is a tough workout for me. It is challenging enough to just keep the step at 6", but I guess you could pause the dvd and change it to 8" before each LowMax segment. If you can do it without a problem, go for it. Don't think I will join you!:eek:

I do all of it on a 6" step. Switching to an 8" height would be a hassle and to hard for me anyway. But, to keep it intense enough for me, instead of doing it in the proposed order, I mix it up and start with 1,2 or 3 (if I'm daring!) intervals. I often use the intervals from Workout #3 and then come back to the Low max sections in #2. Since my heartrate is already high, the Low impact is a nice "break" from the intensity of Imax3 (before picking up again!).

I believe it would depend on your height. I am 5'8", so use 8 inch plateform for all step workouts. ;)
