Hardcore Extreme workout #2 question

If you use and 8" step when doing Low Max and with IMAX3 use a 6" step what do you do when doing the High/Low Intervals from the Hardcore Extreme workout? I can't see myself switching the step every time it changes from one workout to the other. I haven't attempted this workout because I have to do Low Max on an 8" step or the workout is not challenging enough. I'm wondering what those of you who use this workout do. Thanks!

I just did this workout for the first time a couple of weeks ago, and I kept the 6" step for the whole workout. With all of the IM3 intervals thrown in, and the KickMax Blast Challenge at the end, I easily got a very intense workout. Just make sure you give the LowMax blasts everything you've got (go as low as you can, etc.).

Cheers,
Sandra

I usually stick with an 8 inch step except for intervals 6&7. One change is not that hard. I just run over and push pause and do a quick change. It is worth it:)

Diane Sue...what is that blue evergreen tree in your backyard? That is a cool tree. :D

Also, what did you use to border your planting bed? It appears to be flat with the ground in the fore picture but then towards your gate it looks like stone above the ground surface. Wondering what you used there.

Sorry to go off topic!:p

I switch between the 8" and the 6" throughout this workout. I just make sure I keep my head up above my heart as I change the risers and doublecheck that the step is secure. It doesn't actually take much time to switch between the two and the intensity is well worth it!

I really like that evergreen, but can't tell you what it is. They have them downtown Oklahoma City around their river walk. I like it because it is unusual. The border around the planters is concrete. It was there when we bought outr home. The rock border is actually rock from one of the fence columns. We took out some fence when we had concrete poured for our fifth wheel.
