Yesterday's workout is done but was less than stellar. I am still sooooo sore from the friggin treadmill. Weights 3x12 and 15 min of kickbox

squats/incline flyes
sumo deadlift/bb row
reverse lunge/lateral raise
...skullcrushers/hammer curls

No abs and btw, I have some major obique doms :p

I am still sore in my quads and shins today so I think it will be a light 30 min workout and foam rolling :)

Lori-I just saw your reply and I had to LOL. It does sound like you had a very exciting evening :D

Morning Maniacs- I've been having a few busy days lately. Have been working out...just no time to post. This morning I did the new Beachbody Body Gospel cardio/band workout. I jammed my own Papa Roach music, as the gospel music sort of gets stuck in my head.....and I don't like that! Can't really say it was a "fun"... workout. Max HR was 158 and I burned 520 calories in 55". I was off Monday & Tuesday....we went to that Get Him to the Greek movie on Monday (just okay) and Tuesday I went to the eye doc for new glasses....and maybe contacts if I can wear them! Have great workouts everyone. I work the dreaded 12-9:15 shift today and tomorrow! Yuck!

This mornings workout was one of the free treadmill trekking downloads from Brook Benton's website www.cardiopump.com . I really liked this it went in 3 sets of sprint intervals then jogging hills that gradually increased to level 15(I have 12 levels) then back to sprint intervals. I really burned some calories. I stayed walking to end at 4 miles which I was almost at. She says 45 minutes workout. There is a stretch. I spent 50 minutes and calories burned was 444 Max HR was 170. I enjoyed her choice of music as well. Then I did Rumble Heavy Bag segment #1 and the upper drills 12 minutes 96 calories MAx HR 149. I followed with Ab Circuits weights and plates abs 19 minutes 99 calories, then finished with Kelly's 30 minutes to Fitness Boot Camp bonus stretch 18 minutes 54 calories. Workout was 1 hr 41 minutes and calories burned 693.
We have the roofers out here working right now. I have to head out to pick up a few more things for Saturday then back to clean and bake etc..

Theresa, I may joining you on the treadmill doms. Even after the extra stretching my hamstrings are tight. Sort of feels like they are having spasms.

Lora, I hate when I purchase workouts that are not fun and I don't enjoy the music.

Hi Everyone!

I had a very busy morning, so I'm late getting to my posting! This morning I did Cardio Core Circuit because I wanted to feel like I could complete at least one workout this week - I did finish and was drenched when done, but still only did 48 min of cardio.....blah. Anyway, I did get in a good walk/run with the dogs and had a busy morning at work, so I guess that counts as well. :) I don't quite know what's up with me this week....not PMS....nothing too stressful at work.....getting more sleep....just don't know. I feel lethargic and "blah". I hope this nice weather over the weekend will help my mood somewhat. On a brighter note, I have a very quiet afternoon at work today, so I can basically get everything caught up and chill. :)

Diane Sue - Your workouts are such an inspiration!! I feel like such a slacker posting my small workouts on the same page as yours. I'm sorry about the Fifth Wheel.....maybe you will get another in the future. We LOVE our Fifth Wheel and actually just take the two crazy dogs with us!!

Lori - Sounds like you had an interesting workout yesterday....and an interesting evening!!

Theresa - Again, why the treadmill?? LOL, J/K. I call mine the "dread mill" now and haven't used it in about six months. Hopefully the rolling will help. ;)

Debbie - I just read your post on the other thread.....? Anyway, I'm glad the ankle is better and hopefully you can get someone to take your place so you can get some time off.

Lora - I work in ophthalmology, so you DEFINITELY can get those contact lenses in!! LOL. I give you so much credit doing that schedule - I would fall asleep!!

Hi to everyone else. I am off to get some work done - visions of nice weather and camp in my head for the coming weekend. :)

Cheryl

Theresa, you and I must have posted at the same time this morning. LOL!

Today was cardio and I chose Cardio Kickbox Challenge from Tracey. Had a really excellent workout and I think its safe to say my ankle is 100%. Was able to do this workout with no problems and gave it my all. I was dripping with sweat when I got done. I really love the stretch in this workout, it's one of my favorites.

CARDIO STATS:
60 minutes total
7 minutes below zone
12 minutes in zone
38 minutes above zone
442 calories burned

I won't be online much today due to the fact that I have to start training someone my job. I don't have a backup at work and haven't been able to take a weeks vacation in over 7 years. I told my boss that I'm planning on taking a week off this summer and he needs to figure out what to do. So he is having me train one of the girls in the office and I sure hope she can catch on. Last week was such a fiasco because of my mom's surgery that we had to print the paper one day early. It's ridiculous that that place can't run without me. I'm sick of it and I'm so sick of that place.

I'm hoping soon to get another job. We'll see. Nothing on the horizon right now. I cannot believe how hard it is to get a job.

Hope you all have great workouts and a great day!!!

Debbie, glad the ankle is 100%.

Today I did Imax 2 and some abs today.

Thinking of ordering something new in cardio, any suggestoins? I have heard something about Keith Weber, anyway any suggestions are welcome.

Thanks gals.

Good Morning ~

Last night ... well, guess you know what I did. I do NOT like going to Walmart (don't really like shopping, period) and feel like it should count as some kind of workout  The Gin Miller workout was "ok." Had problems with weight selections and kept having to pause - redo ... extra cumbersome with a vhs tape. Today I have 30/30 scheduled and then Circuit Blast or a mix of my own later.

Cheryl - I think I have that one scheduled for Sunday. Maybe all the extra camp activity has you dragging a little. That would be my guess. I think it all counts - Just my opinion :) Hope you do get some time to chill.

Diane Sue - I don't have a treadmill (you guy's are making me wish I did) - Sounds like you had yet another great workout :) - the breakdown you described looks tough/good. It's great when the music is spot on, too. I think that can make a big difference. We have some contractors coming out to give me an estimate on our roof and siding today. I don't know if they'll be able to go up there, though. It's uber windy

Lora - I like Papa Roach. Working out to gospel music would seem ... strange to me somehow  You fired it up there - good cal burn. Bummer shift hours though - I think you said it was for the next two days - hope it changes to one you like after that :)

Theresa - Were your obliques sore from the treadmill? DOMS are good, but they can really slow you down, huh? A lighter workout sounds like a wise choice. I need to get out my foam roller today, too (Have to hide it from the cats and keep forgetting I even have it). I made the peanut butter ... snacks :p . I have not tried them. They need to survive for DS's trip. I'm afraid if I have one, they will have officially "made contact" and will be able to begin taunting me. I used Kashi's Go Lean with honey Almonds and Flax and Cookies and Cream (tastes like chocolate) Protein Powder. They sure ... "seem" very good :)

Debbie - Hi. Hope you're doing ok. How's your mom recovering? My pop had a double hip replacement quite some time ago - I think about her often - still keeping up the prayers :)

Roselyn - Imax 2 is a favorite. Seems like there's lots of new cardio coming out - I think Diane Sue and Theresa both just ordered some good stuff :)

Hope everyone else is having a good morning.

Lori

Debbie-nice calorie burn today :) Glad the ankle is 100%, are you going to order the Fight Circuit series w/ Josef? I could stare at him all day

Cheryl-CCC is a good one and 48 min of cardio is great, what you talkin' bout? :D I didn't do Tm yesterday, I was still sore from Tuesday. I must have really been workin' it. Glad to hear your afternoon is not insane :)

Lori-that sounds like a good mix. I don't think it matters what you put in there, they are soooooo good. DH told me to quit making them b/c he couldn't stop eating them :D

Diane Sue-I'm glad to hear that download was a good one, I got them after u mentioned it. I should have used that Tuesday. I just forget about those things and YAY for Treadmill DOMS :p

Lora-I was wondering about the Body Gospel, it was not a huge draw for me. Sorry it wasn't the best workout.

It took forever to run those errands. Then dh and I went out to Subway for a late lunch. I was famished. All I had today before that was a protein shake post workout. Now I am going to work on some things here. I noticed the roofers had dropped a hunk of foam or something on my flowers:confused: They said they should be done around 7. Walmart and Target were so busy. I forgot it was father's day Sunday so I guess our weekend will be really full. I had to go back out to mail my Dad's card and gift card. Too many things going on here.

Lori, thanks for the link to that youtube. There are quite a few good ideas on there. Makes me want that TRX.

Theresa, I need to go back and check for the rest of the downloads. I thought I had put them all on my ipod shuffle but I tend to get all the downloads in one category or something. I only remember 2 treadmill workouts but now I see 3.

Debbie, glad that you such a great workout and no issues with the ankle:D

Cheryl, dh said maybe we could just get a small trailer or something. My dogs always made me crazy when I took them camping. Neither one was good about doing their business on leash. We took the great dane we used to have with us for a week once and I swear I spent most of my time walking that dog.

Cheryl - the problem with the contacts is not getting them in! It's keeping them in without the drying out/discomfort....plus I have dystrophy on my eyes so it makes it a bit harder for me to wear contacts comfortably. He says these new ones are supposed to be better.....but they got so dry that they were suctioned to my eyeballs only after 3 hours (and I put drops in also!).
