HARDCORE check in for the month of December 2013

This morning I did pre hab Knee Hab to get things loosened up. I followed with Cathe's Ride on the spin bike doing several segments that were not the heavy ones and the recovery stretch, 27 minutes, 229 calories. I followed with X Train Burn sets biceps and triceps 41 min., 295 calories I did the Cathe Lean Legs a abs core and stretch, 15 min, 83 calories. After this I put in the Strong Knees dvd and did the 7minutes to strong knees which went through a couple of the exercises and some stretches. She also had a couple of bonuses I checked out so I used one of my therapy balls(she used a tennis ball) she had you moving the ball with you thighs and hips up against a wall to get into the IT band. I discovered that there is a build your own routine segment as well choosing between exercises and stretches up to 10. I worked on balance some today too.

Today I did Cardio Coach #1. Had a pretty good workout. Feeling pretty good lately other than my knees hurting. If it's not one thing, it's another. Good grief!

Today, I did Cardio Coach 'press play" I am really starting to love this workout. Last week for MESO 1 YAY!!!! I have to fit in disc 9 10 11 and 12 I can do it, right?;)

Today I did X train chest, back, shoulders and core 1, 61 minutes, 346 calories. I also did prehab Knee hab and some extra it band on the wall stuff, and foam rolled the inner thighs (seems this area is not worked on much in the dvds) and also used the therapy balls on the calves a bit more.
Teddy and Debbie thanks:) Honestly I don't feel amazing though.

Debbie, I know the stats bother but you are still getting in good workouts.
 
I started with the pre hab knee hab before the workout. I also did the Knee hab 1 and part of knee hab 2 till they got to the side lying stuff, 20 mn, 80 calories. I then did X10 Low Impact workout modifying a bit, 25 min, 216 calories. I followed with Kelly Coffey's Muscle Definition workout doing the biceps and triceps only mixes since those two body parts are what was worked in the X10 a bit, 27 min., 199 calories. I followed with Les Mills Pump Hardcore Abs, 15 min., 89 calories. Finished with Kelly Coffey's Your best Body yoga/stretch 7 min, 40 calories. Total time excluding prehab was 94 minutes and calories burned 624 . I think I am going to make stuffed peppers from Practical Paleo using ground turkey for dinner :)
 
I thought I updated yesterday? Weird. I didn't workout because yesterday was leg day and my knees have been really bothering me, especially my left knee. I even had a hard time walking around yesterday and Monday. I took another rest day today because they are feeling better and I don't want to chance it. Not sure what's going on with my knees, if they don't get better I'll have to go get them checked. I'm getting really frustrated. If it's not one thing it's another. I've never had so many problems in all my life. Every day it's something new. :(

Tomorrow is upper body and I will do a workout and hopefully run Friday. We'll see.

I did a Hiit workout today, 30 minutes quick and sweaty, it was Ignite by Toby Massenburg.

Headed down to Springfield, MO to bring my son home for the holidays, moving everything out so they clean, or so they say:) so glad i will have my 2 peeps home!!! Well plus my hubby.

This morning, started with a 15 minute warm up on my treadmill and then d-10 chest shoulders and bi's.:rolleyes: Gee! can't believe this is the last week of Meso cycle 1 onward and forward;)
 
Today I didn't do a lot. I did the Prehab Knee Hab, then I put in Bosu Xplode Fuse with Kelly Roberts and followed the modifier till I got to a section that I just could not sort of cursty all the way down to the bosu and then kick out a leg (ouch) So I went to the stretch. I was surprised that I was able to do some of the stretches a little better on the bosu than on the floor. This was 26 minutes. I thought that maybe some of the balance stuff would be good. I then did The Art of Flow Yoga with Zuzana skipping the breathing segment and some of the final stretch because it has so much kneeling stuff in it and I cannot spend that much time with my knees under me and sitting on my heels. I did do the inversion segment that is after final stretch. This was 34 minutes.

Roselyn, I know you are going to enjoy the holidays with your family all a home :)

Debbie, I know the frustration myself. Better to take some rest time. I have had my good knee feeling achy and I know it s because of these months of having to do the work for the left knee. I bought two different dvds specifically for the knees. My orthopedic surgeon suggested that I crosstrain and don't high impact too often to preserve the knees needing replacement surgery. The one for sure has some arthritis in it.
 
Today I did the upper body premix of STS Total Body. I love that workout but getting really tired of the stuff Cathe says on there. You know when you hear something over and over it gets irritating. I might do that one on my own next time, I know it well enough. Had a great workout and I feel pretty good today. No headaches, no upper body pain and just a little knee pain. So all is well! Hopefully I can run on my treadmill tomorrow.

Diane Sue - I should take some rest time and I may if the pain doesn't go away. It's not too bad today. I'll see how I feel tomorrow morning and that will determine whether I run on my treadmill or not. It's frustrating to say the least!

This morning did Cathe's throwback workout he...he...hee Cardio Kicks and it still KICKS...... love this workout. Followed up with 5 exercises from Legs & Glutes, that's it. Have a wonderful day all.:rolleyes:
 
This morning I did the prehab knee hab adding the it band rolling on the wall then started my workout. I did rowing on the Bowflex for 12 minutes, 57 calories (wasn't going really hard at it but thought it would be a good way to get in some mobility in the knees. I then did Kelly Coffey Your Best Body Cardio and upper combo and added on the core. I followed the modifier or did my own cardio moves with the gliding discs, 55 minutes, 371 calories. I finished off with Strong Knees stretch 13 minutes, 33 calories and added on some IT band rolling on the floor and calf and hamstring stretches. Total time was 93 minutes, 535 calories.

Teddy, glad that you enjoyed that workout ;)

Debbie, I am glad that everything s better today. I hope the knee feel fine tomorrow.

Roselyn, I bet that you are enjoying your family time :D
 
So no running today. Knees still aching a bit. I want that to go away before I start running and doing leg work again. So I'll take today and the weekend off and actually, I have to be at work on Monday by 7:30 so I doubt I'll be able to get up early enough to workout Monday. Bummer. :( So I'll start back on Tuesday. Hopefully by then my knees will be ok. They are feeling much better.

Yay Friday:D

This morning, started with 15 minutes w/u on treadie and d-11 back & triceps. I can tell I'm getting stronger using heavier db like..... db overhead, I used a 20 :rolleyes: back is getting stronger. See ya tomorrow. Company going out for Xmas lunch today, promise I'll be good.

Debbie: Dang!!! hope this all works out for you.

Diane: Yep, I think I'm enjoying more this round than lasts except em dog gone pushups:eek: Nice work, lady:)
 
Workout was knee hab prehab adjusting a couple of moves that had me almost sitting on my feet. Then I did Strong Knees 7 minutes of the moves using the make your own workout and the stretch 22 minutes. I did not do the quad stretch. Again bending my knee behind me which really hurts and I believe may be the cause of some of my pain. I followed this with Jackie Warner crunchless abs standing and Cathe's Lean Legs and abs, abs and stretch only. That is it for today.
