Hard Core Fitness Maniacs for week of Oct. 29

Today I did Beast Lucky 7,23 min, 170 calories. I kind of liked this. It is quick and hits everything. Although you are moving kind of fast so can't go as heavy. I learned that pretty quick. The only thing needed for it is an ez bar or pair of dumbbells. I followed this with 65 minutes of URX-MT rebounding workouts doing Greg Cooks High Intenesity Metabolic Circuit with tubing, 49 min, 381 calories(or more since my HR monitor was not working well, I was huffing away and it said 122 HR. So I took my pulse and watched the reading and it was way low) I then put in Keli Roberts Maximum Metabolic Intervals from the URX set and did 16 minutes to check with a different strap and it was 134 during the w/up I maxed out at 166 which was more realistic and calories burned was 149. I burned 700 calories today (or more)and my workout was 88 minutes.
Lucky 7 was 7 exercise moves done 7 times each starting with 1 rep, then 2 rep, then 3,4,5,6,7,
Workout was:
circuit 1 ez pushup, clean squat 31# 7 sets
circuit 2 dead;lift Bentover row 41# 7 sets
circuit 3 skull crusher+press+crunch 41# 7 sets I hit failure at the end of this and will go lighter next time
circuit 4 curl+military press+ ez squat 36# 7 sets
circuit 5 delt raise + reverse runge all reps on 1 leg then all on the other 26# 7 sets
circuit 6 lat oblique twist with with weights on one end of bar with bar weight I think it was 17.5# I really think this would be better with a dumbbell you hold the lunge to the side and twist for the count of 1-7 on each side
circuit 7 upright row calf raise holding the bar up while doing calves 7 sets

Hey Guys :D

I tell ya, I am shamed:(:(:(:(:( Diane: Girl, you worked the Beast, see why I'm shamed  I can't get it together. Any who, I'll check in tomorrow; providing I still have power at home. Have a great day all:)

Hey Guys :D

No workout:mad: No Power:mad: Got home yesterday the wind was blowing my trees like crazy I was so afraid one of my trees was going to fall:eek: After I got home within the hour cable, phone and internet out. Then traffic lights went out and by this time it was time for me to leave out the house; because I knew my lights was going to go out "they did" and they are still out aarrrrrggggggghhhhhhh.

I left a friend house this morning bout 4:30am drove home still NO POWER I was wondering around looking for a lighted places to hold up until I could get into my home. I ended up parking at Star Busts, Speed Way and finally Mc Donald’s, went back home around 7:30 it was light enough for me to stay in my driveway until it got lighter and since I couldn’t open garage I had to kick in front door screen to get in my house argghhhh....I left in such a hurry I forgot to unhook the first door

Man oh man, I’m, leaving work today around 3pm going to pack clothes and stay with my sister in law, I pray our lights are on:eek:

Best thing today was ordering Xtrain:):):):):)

Today I did Rev Abs Strength and Endurance 38 min, 316 calories, Max HR 165. Changing straps for my HR monitor sure makes a difference. I am now using the soft strap. The hard one that was malfunctioning cannot have the battery replaced. You just have to buy another strap. I then did Rev Abs Merciless abs but did the moves like they do on the spice round all 3 rnds., 15 min, 81 calories. I finished with Yoga X 2 66 min, 264 calories. Total time was 1 hr 59 min and calories burned 661.

Teddy, Sorry to hear you are in the storms path. Be careful.

Hey Guys:)

Still no lights or heat:(:(:( Stayed at my sister home. I couldn't sleep got to work 30 minutes early leaving early today. Have a great day all:)

I did Rev abs Rev it up today which is just cardio 44 min, 323 calories, max hr 156. I thendid Rev Abs Power Intervals(the first one) , 28 min, 240 calories, max hr 168. This one is 3 rounds of 16 reps lunges each leg with dumbbells and final roun adds overhead press on last 8 reps. Cardio in between is cross jacks which I did on the rebounder and squat thrusts done twice. I also used the rebounder for the jacks on the all cardio workout. I finished with Chalean Extreme Core Circuit 12 min, 58 calories. Total time was 84 min and calories burned 621.

Teddy, I hope you get your power back today. That is tough.

Hey Guys:)

Diane: Tough indeed:confused: I am praying today be the day, lights and heat restored. I can't wait to get back home, Seriously! BTW whom workouts are you doing?

Today I wanted to get in a total body workout and cardio. I started with URX-MT Amy Bento Bootcamp, 51 min, 480 calories, max hr 167. I swear this is the toughest in that series of workouts. I then did Les Mill Pump Extreme 58 min, 320 calories. Total time was 1 hr 49 min and calories burned 800. I needed it after yesterdays candy and pie that friends bought over:)

Teddy, I am sort of between rotations. I finished the full 12 weeks and then some of Beast. I bought Rev Abs with Brett Hoebel from Beach Body. I have blended it in to my last couple of weeks of Beast and am still playing with it. I ordered Brazil Butt Loft Masters from BeacBody and will use them with other workouts till Les Mills Combat comes in December. Rev abs has cardio, abs, and quite a bit of lower body to it. Then there is some upper body. Since I developed my arms quite a bit I decided tp play around with something to help the rest of me:)

Hi everyone, sorry I haven't been on here. I'm finally feeling pain free and hoping to start back on Monday. With Super Storm Sandy and this pain I just haven't felt like posting. My mom had a foot of water in her basement on Tuesday and we were there all day draining it and installing a sump pump. She has never had flooding in that basement before, but with all the water we got from Sandy (6 + inches in 48 hours) her basement couldn't keep it out. I'm glad that storm is over. So doing all that didn't help my shoulder and neck and I was back to square one on Wednesday. I'm finally feeling much better today.

Teddygirl - I can relate. That storm sucked here. My mom lost power but luckily we didn't. Do you have power yet?

Hey Guys:)

l left my sister’s house around 7ish this morning to drive home to see if lights was on and still "NO LIGHTS" man oh man been 5 days now. Strange, all of South Taylor lights are on but once you cross to North Taylor all the lights are off. My next door neighbor lights are on, DUH...When I get off work today going home to see what's up I pray lights our on. Most of the people on my street our much older than I'm talking; elderly retired senior citizens.

Debbie: Hey girl, glad the stiffness and soreness is gone!!!! So sorry to hear about your moms basement. That's going to be the first places I check once I get in my house. Altho, I never had a water problem but Sandy dropped so MUCH water. I so worried about one of my trees falling, thank God there still standing.

http://beachbodycoach.com/esuite/home/susanmaxwell
I think you can order through their site as well. I didn't see it at Total Fitness.

Teddy, I hope you get your power back. Weird that part of the neighbor hood has it part doesn't but, I have seen that happen before.

Debbie, that much rain in such a short amount of time makes it hard for the ground to soak it up. GLad you were able to help your Mother out. Glad you are feeling better too.

Today I had to cut my workout short. I woke with that crazy neck pain so I did Chalean Extreme Lower Body Extreme Zone, 41 min, 244 calories. That was it.

Today I decided to skip the rest day and did Chalean Extreme Intervals, 40 min, 301 calories, max HR 168. I may be taking 2 days off next weekend and yesterday was less than I had wanted to do.
