Today I did legs, the barre workout from lower body and Jillian abs.

4 sets, 6 reps

squats warm-up 30# barbell 10 reps
squats warm-up 32# barbell 12 reps

Squats 56# plus vest
deadlifts 76#
front squats 54# plus vest
static lunge 55# plus vest

eats for today

M1-Ezekial toast w/peanut butter-Debbie, you reminded me I had some cinnamon bread
M2-protein shake
M3-tuna sandwich, apple
M4-greek yogurt, almonds
M5-chicken, veggies, salad

So today was suppose to be cardio and I had all intentions of doing cardio. However, Aunt Flo is hitting me hard again and I had an atrocious headache when I got up this morning. I didn't go back to bed and did my Yoga Stretch workout instead. Felt ok, but my head is really hurting. And to top that off, I came to work and fed our cat here and when I got done I forgot the shut the cabinet door and slammed my forehead right into it. OMG did that hurt. I seen stars, literally. Just what I needed. Good thing I brought a ton of IBUprofin with me.

Anyways, hopefully I'll be almost normal tomorrow... I'll post my eats later.
 
This morning I did Lower Body Blast w/up with Supreme 90 legs 40 min 289 cal. Then I did Kelly Coffey CIrcuit Burn mix boxing and lower body 32 min,264 cal Max hr 150. I finished with Shiva Rea Power Yoga Flow creative roots and forward bends& hip opener 31 min 138 cal. Total time 1 hr 43 min, 691 cal..
 
Here are my foods for today plus a gripe:

M1: - 1/2 c. oats w/BSN Lean Desert, 1 tbsp. PB and 1 banana
M2: - Turkey cranberry sandwich (got from Oxygen - was really good); 12 almonds
M3: - Greek yogurt & 1 tbsp. sliced almonds
M4: - Broccoli, almonds & Orange stir fry (Oxygen)

Total calories: 1335.5
Fat: 37.3 g. - 25%
Protein: 113.7 g. - 34%
Carbs: 146.3 g. - 44%

I know I need to eat something else becasue my calories are way too low, but since I had a stretch workout only, if I'm not all that hungry tonight I'll leave it as it is.

Ok, I made that Broccoli, Almond & Orange stir fry last night from Oxygen. Very good recipe, except I didn't have fresh ginger or turmeric. I just used the ground spices I had. I ended up frying the chicken in the spices with garlic and olive oil and it turned out good that way. Anyways, as I was doing the recipe I wanted to see how many it served. Said, "Serves 2-4". Now what on earth does that mean? Is the breakdown of the nutritional info on 2 servings or 4? Makes a big difference. This is what I hate about Oxygen. I bet not one recipe I've made from that magazine has the correct nutritional value on it. I even emailed Oxygen before complaining about it. So just a word of warning: If you decide to use a recipe out of this magazine and depend on the nutritional info it gives you, don't. Do it yourself if at all possible. Now I'm not sure if what I ate last night had 360 calories or half that? :confused:

I will start posti g eats Thurs. Trying to monitor Cholestral. I think all of. The high protein has given me a slightly high col reading. We went out for lunch today at local oriental restaurant. I got grilled bean curd with veggies and steamed rice. No breakfast. Did well the last couple of days. Going out to a friends Italian restaurant tomorrow to celebrate our 38th anniversary before dh leaves since it is the 27 th.

Debbie, I have found those discrepancies too. Sometimes I just break down the ingredients that I use. I makea lot of CE magazine recipes.

The Clean Eating book has a lot of errors in it as well. At least the first one Tosca released does. Very frustrating.
 
Debbie, I have two of the Cookbooks. Sometimes I will wonder if they mean the whole recipe or a serving. I think sometimes they don't include the rice or whatever they are serving over. Or you are left guessing how much rice or pasta. I did one with rice noodles and it came out so thick. Did not look like the picture
 
Today's workout was a shorter yoga class (55 min) and then when I got home I did the abs from Body Max 2. Yesterday was the supersets premix from gym style chest and triceps.
