Hard Core Fitness Maniacs for Mon July 4

Happy 4th of July!! Of course, it is raining here.

I worked my legs today. Did Legs and Glutes and Slow and Heavy Legs, then abs from KPC.

Today was Day 4 of the Cto5K. Today's workout entailed 90 seconds jogging, 2 minutes rest. By the last interval the 2 minutes were welcome. I did it all at 4.5 and walked at 3.0 using a 1% incline. Felt great!

CARDIO STATS:
35 minutes total
5 minutes below zone
15 minutes in zone
15 minutes above zone
268 calories burned
1.865 miles travelled
HR reached 150 bpm at it's highest.

Have a great day everyone! Happy 4th of July everyone!

This morning I wanted to get a good calorie burn but do weights and keep the time down. I did Amy's Kettlebell Dynamics w/up, workout #1, section 1 of workout #2, and core refining. 37 min, 289 calories, avg hr 129 and max hr 165. Then I put in Jari's Extremely Ripped Bootcamp and did weights only and abs only which was 46 minutes, 332 calories HR avg 124 and max 153(not bad for a weight workout) You are working both upper and lower at the same time and reps are high. I finished off with Amy's Kickbox Surge COre refining and stretch 14 min and 81 calories. Total time was 97 min and calories burned was 702

Roselyn, that was one long tough leg workout. I bet you will be feeling it:)

Debbie, good job on the couch to 5K:D . I think that is a great calorie burn for the time spent. Funny, I do a Hiit and I get less than that. I guess that is to be expected with Hiit though. It is what you get later.

Baking bread and getting ready for everyone to come over for the 4th celebration. Going to watch a motocross demo in town and parade then activities and fireworks. I am grilling chicken(probably the buttermilk curry recipe from CE magazine) and steaks along with baked potatoes corn and some grilled pineapple. That isn't too bad but I made a chocolate cherry covered cheesecake and apple pie with a butter brown sugar sauce before baking. A real temptation but I think enough of us to share that I won't be eating a lot. I hope all of you have an enjoyable Independence Day celebration:D

Hope everyone had a great 4th!

My workout was the timesaver premix from GS back, shoulders, biceps, then the abs section from Amy's All Pump Xtreme, then some yoga asanas on my own.
