Hard Core Fitness Maniacs for Fri. July 8

Today was Day 6 of Couch to 5K. Woke up with a headache (thanks Aunt Flo) but had a pretty good workout. It felt hard because my head hurt, but my HR was really good. I also did one more interval from what I did Monday and Wednesday.

I'm not sure I'll be able to run 3 miles at 4.5. I'm going to try, but after the last interval today I was spent. Could be due to TTOM but I don't know. We'll see.

I was so busy yesterday I never was able to get here. Yesterday I did URX-MT with Greg Cook Metabolic Intervals and Circuits repeating the abs, 54 min 413 calories. I then did the last few minutes of Greg Cooks rebounder workout that uses the band 8 min that was the final interval and ab work 57 calories, I followed with Lauren Brook's Ultimate Sculpt and Conditioning w/ kettlebells 2 killer abs segment 13 min, 71 calories. I finished with Shiva Rea's Power Yoga Flow flow of empowerment segment 22 min, 95 calories. Total time 97 min 636 calories.
Today I did Lauren Brooks Ultimate Sculpt and Conditioning w/ kettles 3(such a long title) Upper Emphasis, Lower Emphasis, Core Emphasis and w/up 46 min 285 calories. Most of this uses 2 kettlebells. I followed this with Jari Love's Extremely Ripped Lean Machine Complete workout 57 min, 420 calories. I like the way she incorporates mulitple bodyparts all at once, it burns plenty of calories and I get a good workout. She does do some high rep isolation stuff during the last half of the workout. Total time was 1 hr 43 min and calories burned 705. Eating strawberries to wet my appetite before dd comes and we go out to lunch.

Debbie, I have had headaches a lot lately too. It is hard getting motivated to workout with one. Hope it gets better.

Roselyn, I love Athletic Step Jam. It is one of my favorite step workouts of all time:D
 
Debbie, TTOM definitely has a way of sapping your energy. I loathe it. Men are so lucky they don't have to deal with it.


I just finished my workout, yay! It is early by my standards. I did the push/pull premix of GS chest and tris, then combos 1-4 of Tracey's High Intensity Step Mix 2, then some yoga based core and stretching on my own for 20 min or so.
 
Hermia, that sounds like a well rounded workout. You have been getting them in. I meant to mention that earlier when I read yesterday's check in.
