HARD CORE FITNESS MANIACS FOR FRI FEB 11

Roselyn-my goodness, you are really working it with that new rotation :)

Yesterday I did a TRX workout of my own making. It was 2x12 total body work, followed by 10 reps of pistols per leg. That little contraption is no joke :) I feel nice and sore today. I have no idea what I will do today. We are finally going to get some nice weather next week, we will make it intot he 70's. And as a reference, Canada and northern Alaska have been warmer than Oklahoma

Today I did Yoga Flow from Karen Voight's Yoga & Sculpting DVD. Felt good but even though this is a beginners workout, some of the poses were really hard for me. I cannot believe how tight I am. My muscles just don't seem like they want to be pliable again. I'm sure this will take time. I need to keep at it. I feel pretty good right now. Energized.

Then I did the Ab Work from STtep, Jump & Pump.

Today I was so indecisive on my upper body workout. I put in P90X+upper body and did the w/up and double double dip (they used their power stands. I need to get some new push up stands since I threw mine away when we moved here because the padding was crumbling) and the first pull up segment 8 min 33 calories and then I changed my mind till I get the right equipment. So I did Pyramid Upper body 58 min 305 calories,I followed with 4Day Split High Intensity step 32 min, 258 calories, Max HR 153. I finished off with Stretch Max with the band 17 min 50 calories. Total time spent was 1hr 55 min and calories burned was 646. This workout seemed to take forever. Olivia was constantly needing something or in the way. I was doing the pikes and she lost her ball so when I was going back down I caught her ball sandwiched with mine and the wall:eek: My legs still have doms from STS Total body a couple of days ago. I als can feel twinges in my low back so I will have to decide what I want to do tomorrow for lower body. No deadlifts for sure.

Theresa, I am happy for some nice weather. I need to get out to some stores. I wanted to hit the nutrition center and Walgreens. I will wait till tomorrow though and hope a little more of this melts off today. DD said the road to my house was a narrow path cleared and she was having problems with oncoming traffic.

Roselyn, that was a nice total body workout you put together.

Debbie, I try to keep up with the yoga and stretching because when I let up I can really tell the difference.

Teddy, you are really getting in some tough workouts:)
