Have fun this weekend! :7 A few of my Texas Road Trip friends will be here in 4 hours! Yippee! :7 We are planning to enjoy blueberry buttermilk pancakes :9 at my favorite cafe then shopping and a trip to the zoo to walk off the calories! :7

Do you have any fun plans for the weekend? I hope you are blessed with love and laughter this weekend. The Texas Road Trippers will be thinking about you this morning. I am looking forward to seeing the famous Road Tripper from Uganda (Laura) again and Jean and Gin!

Wow Heather, that sounds like SO MUCH FUN!!!! Tell everyone I said "HI". What a great day you have planned. I love pancakes, mmmm, and a trip to the zoo is always great to do. I find the monkeys and baboons to put on a spectacular show when a crowd gathers...too funny! I'm excited for all of you. Have a great Texas Road Trip! I'll be thinking about you. Be sure to fill us all in on how it went.

Texas Road Trip Reunion!!!!

Thank you for the enthusiastic response! Were your ears burning today? We talked about you a bunch. All good! ;-)

We met for brunch and enjoyed yummy treats. Blueberry pancakes for me. :9 Laura and Gin chose egg white omelets and banana pecan pancakes. Jean ordered cinnamon French toast with strawberries on top in your honor. You were talking to us when you ordered your breakfast at the Five Points Diner in August, and we remembered how excited you were about French toast! :7

After brunch and shopping, we went to the zoo and had a blast watching all the animals play. They must have known that Cathe girls were watching because they demonstrated their workouts for us. One of the Gibbons did a creative mambo shuffle sequence that you need to include in your next cardio workout! :7 He worked one side and then the other. Balance is so important! ;-) The baby giraffe did dive-bomber push-ups to get a drink of water! The baby jaguar just stuck out his tongue at us. One of the tigers wrapped up the day with a segment of Stretch Max. We had a ton of fun and did not stop to take many pictures, but here are a few:

Check out my brown and turquoise Nike running shoes that match my Road Trip tee shirt! :7 Laura is sadly returning to Uganda before the Road Trip, but the rest of us are looking forward to seeing each other and you again in July.

Cathe, thank you more than words can say for providing these forums for us. What a gift. I treasure the friendships I have found here. Have a blessed weekend! See you in July!

What a great summary Heather has given of our fun get-together. We did chuckle at all the animal antics! I think those Gibbons did a few pull-ups in addition to their creative mambo-shuffles. :7

I might add that in the car we enjoyed some fun Cathe music--a CD of all Gins faves from your workouts. We played "name that tune" or I guess I should say "name that video" as each tune came up. We loved Gin's CD and it was something only true Cathe fans could appreciate. Thanks Gin for the drive and the great music.

It was a great time, that's for sure. It is so nice to be able to get together with people that share a common interest. Especially people who understand Cathe and her workouts. Most of the people in our lives, kind of just tolerate it and just don't get our enthusiasm. Can't wait for July.

Laura--Glad you enjoyed my CD of Cathe songs. I believe YOU were the winner of "Guess That Workout"!! We will definitely be thinking of you in July on the RT.
