Today I did Amy Bento's
All Pump. It's not long and not killer (but not a walk in the park either). I was going to do a circuit but the weather is beautiful so I'm going to walk later for my cardio (while Ewan naps).
My lymph nodes are swollen again but I feel o.k. anyway. No headache today like yesterday, thank goodness. I do seem to get sick a lot. DH thinks I'm a hypochondriac but usually when I go to the doc there's an actual problem. Then again maybe most people could go to the doctor any time and find something wrong with them.... He was saying that after I was telling him about getting light therapy from the dermatologist. I was like, look, you can actually see my scaly spots on my arms and legs, right? It's not like I'm making that up. And I don't go around afraid I've got cancer or anything, I just have lots of little minor issues.
Robin, I totally respect your point-of-view as well. That's probably pretty close to what my DH would say. He used to be quite "homophobic" or whatever but he's changed a bit. We were confirmed along with a lesbian couple at our church, and Brian didn't bat an eye. I had thought he would have lots of problems with our church because of that and because of other things, but he's been much more open than I expected. However, he still doesn't necessarily agree with the church, but he goes with the flow. I have no idea if I'm expressing this well at all. What surprises me most about churches I've attended is how angry some Christians can get about it. As if they didn't welcome in and forgive people who were greedy, or adulterers, or whatever, but then being gay is unforgivable to them. My usually sweet brother-in-law got vehement talking about some old actor who's gay (the guy who played Gandalf in LOTR, maybe). I was shocked at how angry he sounded about it. What did that dude ever do to him?
Anyway, I usually don't venture opinions much on the controversial threads, but I am open with you guys because we are all friends here.
Shelley, wow, that stream is already gorgeous. I have thought about doing some sort of water feature thing in my yard, but I'm too lazy or something. Maybe eventually. I decided not to even bother with a veggie garden this year because it can be so high-maintenance. Plus, what I had most of were jalapenos, and there are only so many things I can do with jalapenos. Our first Japanese Maple (in our backyard) wasn't too expensive, but it was also super-tiny.

The new one is almost as tall as I am so it was a little more pricey.
Shannon, glad you enjoyed the new Indiana Jones flick--sounds like a good recommendation. I probably won't see it until it's on DVD, though, since we so seldom go to the movies.
Leanne, I'm doing full-body stuff right now, but mostly circuits. Have you done Circuit Zone? Did you see my new Spider-Man yoga pics? The only KB DVDs I have are both Sarah Lurie: Kettlebells the Iron Core Way Volumes 1 & 2.
Tneah, I felt like doing nothing today as well, but compromised by doing a not-too-long strength workout and I'll do that walk later. I wish I could jog but I'm afraid to do that to my knees. I'm glad you found the right workout for yourself today.
Deb, I think I might have a heart attack if I found a bunch of baby rabbits where I was weeding. I mean, not that they are scary but it had to be a big surprise. I have had a rabbit dart out from the side of the house and surprise me. And we have a possum that seems to spend a lot of time under our back porch in the winter. We realized that after seeing him waddle through the snow back there a couple times and the path would go to and from the porch area.
