Happy thoughts, please!

DH has been having lower stomach probs since Jan/Feb, after the stomach flu. His regular Dr isn't sure what's up. He had an ultrasound, nothing showing. He went to the gastro Dr yesterday, and is scheduled for a colonopscopy on Mon and a CAT scan on Weds. United Healthcare is being a PITA as always. They don't want to preauth the colonopscopy nor do they want to pay for the prep medicine. The pharmacist argued with the for a while yesterday, and the Dr office is supposed to call UHC back today. Why, why, why is UHC always difficult???? The have to be the worst insurance ever. Nothing is ever easy with them. If I call, I will be stepping into someones a$$ sideways until it is resolved. They DO NOT want to get Mrs. DH on the phone, especially when I am in a MD!!!

If you could all throw some happy dealing with UHC vibes and good test result vibes at me, I'd appreciate it. DH is only 34, but the big nasty C word runs in his family, and I'm scared

SUPER positve vibes coming your way! I just took my DH in for a colonoscopy this morning, however this was for a baseline not because of any issues. Fortunately, my insurance is covering with no preauthorization. With our previous insurance we had the same issues you're dealing with now so I'm with ya on this!
