When I was born, the nurse told my mother she had a Cinco de Mayo baby. My mother had no idea what that meant and thought there was something physically wrong with me! We still get a chuckle out of that.

Today was a lovely day in Ann Arbor, MI. Sunny, warm but not hot, lush green grass is everywhere and the streets are lined with trees loaded down with blossoms.

Thanks again to everyone. It was a hot day here, probably reaching the first 100-degree day of the year (I haven't checked the weather report yet) and lush green grass is discouraged. But the cacti are blooming and the birds are singing -- our version of spring!
