Hang On Melters - Wednesday

OMG! OMG! Shelley! I just adored your picturetrail...um, excuse me woman, but you are seriously fit!! Long and lean come to mind when I see your pictures! WOW. And I am not just saying that, I really mean it! You are beautiful inside and out, but now I am embarassed I even posted my muscle pics, you rock!!:D And I loved seeing Shannon (purty lady!) Robin (another purty lady) Emily..purty lady and Judy..purty lady! Sophie is darling, whatta little ham and poser she is. She looks like she has such a great personality!
Thank you so much for sharing with us!

Leanne, I know! I feel sorta "obligated" now, it pisses me off too. DH just goes, "well don't get upset and think about it"...yeah, easy for you to say dork, you will be up in the hotel room reading a good book. Grrrr....I loved your idea of doing something Sunday, but now I feel like I have to do this, its my boat after all....oh dear. It still pisses me off, my opinion of this gal has changed from "I really like her" to "not so much". No! You were totally in the right about sorta "ignoring" the message, after all, its your time together and everyone needs to back to "blank" off!! Crap on the Figleaves...but you know the boys at the end of the day, like the bare skin best anyways right?;)God I hate that winky guy! Sending you lovey dovey, sexy vibes, you two have fun okay?

Pegster...ha! That sounded cute in my head when I said it...:D So any pita chip is a good pita chip I think. Those things are incredible.

Alli, yeah for pretty toes and nails! I need to get my nails done but will wait til Monday since Sunday I will be cleaning....whaaaaa....

I seriously would rather pay you all to come and clean and organize with me, I would have much wine, beer and treats--pita chips anyone? It would be so much fun, well, at least for me right? Oh that would be fabulous, I know our resident "organizer" Shelley, would whip things into shape in no time.

OK, gotta go run errands, this time DH is coming along thank the lord. But of course, the top will be down on the convertible and this is the only day my hair has behaved. Sigh. I am a priss huh? But still, you all know what I mean. Love you guys, BG, good to see ya darlin' dear. Am concerned about the tiredness though, get some bloodwork done to check your levels of iron, thyroid, etc...it could not hurt right?

Well, he passed!!! Eek! We only had to wait more than 2 hours for a 15 minute exam. Fun. Now I have to actually teach him…

Leanne—Thank you for the kind words. I am not photogenic so it was a bit traumatic to post my pic. You along with the other melters don’t share this problem with me! You guys are all gorgeous! AND…Happy anniversary! Have fun at dinner tonight and enjoy yourself! You deserve it. Enjoy your rare private time too!

Peggie—How do you like Tony’s One-on-One? I am really interested in these, but haven’t ordered. I am so sorry that Tayler is still sick. Ugh!

Robin—Holy moly! So, do you have to go on antibiotics? I hope everyone in the lab is OK.

Emily—The coworker sounds like a real schmuck. Did cookies help you calm down? They help me every time! Actually, ice cream works the best, but cookies are a close second. Yesterday, a friend from church brought me banana bread cookies. They were to die for!

Shannon—How is work? Have fun with Coach Sean tonight!

Tneah—Miranda, eh? I will have to google a pic of her. She is the red-haired one, right? Believe me, I am not half as purty as you and the other melters, but thank you for the compliment. That sucks about being finagled into cleaning the boat. If you are paying her, then she should be the one cleaning! Are you feeling any better? I hope so.

Shelley—(((HUGS))) I am so sorry you are down. For the record, your *stupid, little* comments are so much wittier than my well-thought-out ones (do I need hyphens there???)!

BreckGirl—Sorry you are in a rut, workout-wise. You should adopt the Leanne approach—just do FUN workouts until the 4th. Don’t force yourself to do anything that is unappealing. I did this on vacation and ended up working out more than I would have otherwise. (((HUGS)))

Allison—Ooooh, I bet your nails are purty! You must be really excited for the RT! Please get Cathe to up our smiley allowance! I haven’t been using them for fear some would get a happy face and others would not. Then, my post may not seem as personal or caring or nice or whatever! I know I seriously over think these things, but I am anal to the core.

Well, I have been interrupted numerous times during this post! Ugh! I hope I didn’t miss anyone. If I did, I will remember at the MOST inconvenient time and fret about it until I am able to come back and apologize!

Hi Kittens

I did the low impact pre-mix of the Kick Max. Then I did the new Tony One-on-One. Seriously, I think Tony was more tired than I was. I could do most of the reps and was breathing hard and all, but I swear he was gonna barf all over the place. He did say that he was getting rid of a cold and had a bunch of mucous - welcome to my world with Tayler -. Anyway, he did go outside and spit a couple times. Who cares. He said everyone at home is gonna say "oh, gross." I have never seen any of his other DVDs, but he looked like sh%&. I kind of felt sorry for him. His eyes were all red and everything. Anyway, I kind of liked the style and liked the workout. It would be like us when we do something really hard and are bending over sucking air, only he really does it on the DVD. Nothing fancy. But I do have to say, I liked it.

I also decided that until the road trip, I am going to do by Lauren kettlebell workout three times a week and see what happens. Leanne, if I don't show up for the RT, you know I probably knocked myself out. Oh, I wanted to ask you about Friday morning class. I get there Thursday afternoon and am planning on going to the class. Can I tag along with you guys. I would be willing to share a cab or whatever. Just didn't want to forget to ask you.

Tneah - I kind of like Pegster. That bit#$ needs to do her job. Sorry, I hate when people take advantage of other people. I know what you mean about the hair. There was one day last week that I contemplated not working out at lunch because I was having such a great hair day. That doesn't happen very often.

Kara - I love your picture. You look purty. I have to tell you a horror story about my daughter when she got her license. In South Dakota, they can get a learner's permit when they turn 14. Corie did not get her license until she was 15 and we found her a car. It was 6K and she was going to pay us back. Anyway, she was going to go to a friend's house to do a science project. I watched her out the window leaving. She stopped to put on her seat belt. Her friend's house was probably about 10 miles away. Anyway, about 30 minutes later, we got a call from her friend's mom and they had Corie there with them, but she was alright. She rolled her car on the gravel and totaled it. That was the first time she had driven it. So, thank God she was okay, but we only had liability on the car so we were out the 6K. Oh the adventures of teenage drivers. The next car she got was a piece of crap that cost about 2K (bad enough) and she is convinced that kids should get the crappy car first in case they wreck. We can kind of laugh about it now. Even though she is almost 22. Wow, hard to believe that was 7 years ago. Time flies.

Emily - Fu$^ the co-worker. Those kind of people are energy vampires. They just suck it right out of you.

Leanne again - Bring the pita chips.

Shelley - you don't make stupid little comments. Chin up.

Lainie - Are you un-tired yet. What about you Breckie.

Okay, I'm hungry now and need to go find something good for me. I wonder if Cheez-its are good for me.

Tayler is feeling much better. Yay. She has been eating all afternoon.

Jennifer, the link sent me to a weird page with advertising...I googled though, are those children sick? That is awful, not sure if the Martha house is what you are referring to?

Peggy, OMG, Tony H. was snotting all over the place during his exercise video? Weird, and kinda funny/sad all at once, makes me want to buy it just to watch!

I swear I sat down to write to you guys for one second and Georgie is of course choosing to bark his fool head off, which means one of two things...potty or food. Sigh. I be a tired bee-otch today.

BTW, I was thinking about this alot today, especially after seeing Shelley's pics...why in the world would a group as lovely as you all are, trash talk yourselves like you do? You would think by the way we talk about ourselves, we were two ton Tina's and dumb as bricks. Unbelievable to me, seriously. Kara, you are lovely! My goodness, how can you look at your picture and think anything less? Shelley, if you can find an ounce of extra fat on that incredible body of yours I would like to see it for crying out loud! Those are just two examples that come to mind lately. I am wondering why I am so hard on myself too, believe me. It just sorta struck me today all the time I waste obsessing over body and face stuff.

Yes, I am giving you all a good ole scolding darn it. I am scolding myself too, cause I can go there. But sheesh you guys, you are all so amazing both inside and out.And look at your beautiful kids...they are a part of you...amazing and beautiful too! Wow. Sorry if I just sounded like Dr. Phil or some weird new age dork rattling on about self love....((hugs)) to you all.

BTW, the Menstrulean book I helped write? Well, the company wants to make an exercise video to go along with the book using the exercise programs I wrote. This is not exciting, as I understand after being such a Cathe freak and watching the exercise video process, that it is incredibly hard and time consuming if you do it correctly, I am sorta freaking out, I thought we were just going to photograph a model doing the exercises. And no! I will NOT be in the video...oh dear god my darling DH has lost his mind.

Just back from, drum roll please, Target. Shelley! Shelley! Shelley! The new Target here has Big Red Balls. Now you have to come back for another visit. We mananged to get out with spending less than $100, mostly because I knew I could come back some other time to get stuff.

Tneah, I loved your scolding. Thank you. I've been beating myself up over the weight I've gained over the last month and the harder I beat, the more I eat. I really do like to workout, but I just can't diet anymore. I'm never going to look like Cathe, or you, or any of you other slim ladies, but you are right. I'm not a dumb two ton Tina. I'm going to try to take your scolding to heart and enjoy myself, my strength and my friends. Hugs to you.

Peggie, your story about Corie driving is so scary. I hate riding with my DD. She is much too aggressive and drives too fast. She won't listen to me. I'm just dumb mom. Of course, I've been driving for 37years and have never gotten a ticket. She's been driving for 5 and has gotten one.

Kara, I'm so happy to be able to put your beautiful face to your lovely name. Yes, everyone in my department who was working Sat, Sun or Mon has to go on antibiotics. We will be taking two types, twice a day for 3 weeks.

Oh Leanne, I feel so bad for your crappy summer. I hope your BIL took your DH's hint and went to a movie.

BG, I'm sorry you are in such a slump. I hope you can figure out a way to climb out. We don't see Acinetobacter very often, but it seems to be a pretty resistant-to-antibiotics bug. I think it is usually caught from environmental sources, so the decision you folks made was probably the best one.

Shelley, I agree about your little comments. A day without them is like a day without orange juice. Wait, that's not right. I'm just glad to see you popping out of the HH more and more frequently.

I ended up skipping my workout today. After all the excitment at work, I just needed to decompress. After the excitment of the bacteria, I discovered that one of my fungus cultures is growing another pretty dangerous, fairly rare-to-our-area organism. I've only ever had one before in 30 years of doing fungus cultures. We all just had to laugh...I'm headed for bed and book now. See you all tomorrow, for at least part of the day. I'm not sure what time I'm leaving for the pre-RT. DH may come with me, and I'll leave later in the afternoon if he comes along.

I'm tired and grumpy and I want to go home. Oh wait, I am home. Eek, this is my home? Help.

Guess I should go to bed soon.

Hi guys. I just had to pop in here to say how much I appreciate all of the kind words. All of you are so inspiring and supportive. Thank you!

Peggie--Oh no! That was a frightening story. I am so glad Corie was OK. Yikes. Thanks for the info on Tony's workout. I want it!

Tneah--You are the best. I will take your kind words to heart.

Robin--Wise choice to skip the workout. Thank you for the compliment. Crazy days in the lab, eh? Good luck with the antiobiotics! Have fun at the pre-RT!

Lainie--In bed yet??? Take care, girlfriend!

Jennifer--I love your avatar! You are beautiful. I will check out the link soon.

Off to watch Underdog with the kids. Help.
