Okay I am so excited. I was a little depressed because I only lost one pound this week but to get my spirits up I tried on my only remaining thin dress and it fit!!! It's a size 8 which I haven't worn in 4 years. I moved a few years ago and stupidly gave away all of my thin clothes except for one jumper that I really loved. It's been hanging in my closet for years and today it fit.

That is fabulous news! Sometimes when the scale doesn't show progress, new (old) clothes will fit. Isn't that the best feeling? As for giving away all your old thin clothes, now you get to buy new thin clothes. That sounds pretty good to me :) Keep up the hard work, Heather

Have fun shopping :-jumpy

Congratulations! Yeah, now you have a good reason to shop...

I too, sort of gave up on losing weight/size before Cathe and got rid of my before pregnancy clothes. After just a few months with Cathe, the size started to budge! It is a GREAT feeling!

Excellent work! In about 6 months (this was 6 years ago) I went from a size 5 to a size 11. Once my depression was finally diagnosed and I got on some medication, I was able to take a good look at myself and decide that I didn't want to follow in the footsteps of all the other women in my family (all suffering from depression, all very overweight.)

It took me 5 years to go from wanting to lose weight to actually doing something about it.

In Sept. 2001, I bought a pair of jeans that were one size smaller than my biggest jeans. I hung them on a skirt hanger so they would be fully displayed and I hung that hanger on my bedroom door. Every day I had to try on those jeans and feel them stop at my hips. So here comes the exercise and better nutrition. Next thing I knew, I could wear those jeans. So I would buy a smaller pair and repeat the procedure.

I am now back down to a size 5 (and they fit a little loose). But what's even better is that now I'm in shape (I wasn't in good shape last time I was thin) and my jeans are being filled with some muscle rather than just skin and bones.

Keep up that good work! Clothes can be an excellent motivator!

I'll congratulate you too, even though I have No idea how it feels to "get back in to" a smaller size :) But if it feels even remotely as good as getting to the next smaller size, you must be on cloud 9! :)

And I may have to try Ladychimpion's "smaller size" idea. I am just stubborn enough for that to work for me!
