GS Chest - hands hurt holding weights

Whenever I do GS Chest, the palms of my hands start hurting from holding the weights. I've been using 15 lb. dumbbells & 12 lb. dumbbells. These weights seem to be good for my chest but about half way through the workout, the palms of my hands really hurt. I sometimes have a hard time lifting the weight because it hurts. Any advice or suggestions from Cathe or anyone else would be appreciated.

I need suggestions on this too. I thought maybe my gloves were too tight, but I haven't gotten around to buying a larger pair.

I've had this happen when doing Slow and Heavy. It helps to stretch my hands (alternating a "make a fist" then "splay fingers out as wide as you can")

Do you have weight lifting gloves? If not, they might help.

I haven't tried this, but what about holding a folded up washcloth in each hand, just to add some extra padding?
 
I always have this problem, I have small hands. I wish someone would manufacture fitness equipment with the petite person in mind. I just work through it.
