So, as some of you know, I have been trying to get back into my previous life as a screenwriter, after dropping out for a number of years due to burnout and depression. Well I sent a draft of my latest script to an executive producer I used to work with, at Disney (he's not with them anymore either) and he *loved* it! He sent me a bunch of notes (they always have notes) and has requested that I make some changes. I don't know what is going to happen beyond that, and I also know that the chances are selling a spec script are one in a million, but the mere fact that I got over my own fear to send it to this guy, and that he loved it even though I haven't written a script in a few years, is huge to me!!
Just wanted to share my positive news. :7

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming ‘Wow - what a ride!’ — Peter Sage
