Gowearfit/Boddy Bugg ?

How does the BodyBugg compare? It's on sale for less than the GWF right now...still expensive, but I thought the BB was generally higher priced, right? Not sure why it's changed...

I should not be reading this! I really do not need another gadget. Did you end up getting either one Dawn?

I got the GWF (duh - forgot to mention that).

I have yet to get that far into it. Will get back to you on the software part.

I'm not Dawn (well not that Dawn :D), but as you can see from the quote above she did get the GWF. I've had mine for close to 2 months and still love it, but it's probably not for you. Did I say that convincingly enough to save your checkbook some abuse. ;)

Lol, I didn't see that buried way up there in the middle! Thanks for trying to save my checkbook! ;)

I have the Body Bugg

Hi -
I have the BB and you can see your calorie burn throughout the day, and once you set up your account on line and put in your information, it will automatically add in calories burned while you sleep. However, you do have to wear the armband, which can be awkward depending on where you are or work.

I will say that the website to manage it all is a dissappointment, I really dont like it at all. The food diary is also a pain, it doesnt have a lot of foods in it. I have used Fit Day to track my food and my calories, I think it's a much better program.

We (my sisters traininer and I) have also come to the conclusion recently that when you are doing kickboxing or anything where you are standing in place for a bit, floor work, etc., I don't think the calories are accurate. I know it's supposed to take calories based on your skin temp, but I think the steps have something to do with it as well.

I am actually switching to a heart rate monitor. I think its more accurate, they tell you calories burned and you can use something like fit day to track your food and calories eaten.

I honestly don't think it was worth the money I spent on it. For everything including shipping and the display watch, I paid almost $350.

Save your money and go with a Polar HRM.

:)
