Gotta sing the praises of Step Blast...Love it!

"just gotta do it"...as cathe says in cardio kicks... ;)

I LOVE STEP BLAST! it's my new favorite step tape...it's great intensity, great choreography, and time goes by so fast! (love that part!) she doesn't take too much time teaching the combos either, which i love...it really pays off later after you've learned the combos, and don't want to go through the laboriousness (is that a word?) of her breaking down each combo, when you're doing the tape for the umpteenth time!

i 'do' have to get a plug in for kpc , (my fave kickbox tape..w/ cardio kicks as a close 2nd, tho !) i saw a thread on the blast series..and have to say that "both" of these tapes are fantastic! :D

can't beat cathe for "knowing" you'll always get a great workout...go cathe, go! :D
 
I agree. I love this workout and have done it probably 50-60x already and still love it. The music is grea, the moves are great and it is just so much fun. She is awesome!

Oh, yeah, Step Blast is FANTASTIC. It's my favorite too. I love running through all the segments at once at the end - kind of like one big fantastic dance.
 
I ADORE this one too...just did the premix combos 1-3 this morning, and it was perfect at about 40 minutes since I was doing add-on workouts as well...I did it for the first time on a 6-inch step as opposed to just the step without risers, at 4 inches...what a difference it made!! Don't know why I've been afraid to try all the step workouts on 6 inches all this time. I think doing Low Max on 8 inches instead of 6 gave me the courage to try the others on 6, lol...anyway, it definitely upped the intensity for me and my knees feel fine!
 
okay, now you're inspiring me, and giving ME THE COURAGE to try low max on 8". ;) on 6" it feels like a leg workout...guess if i bump it to 8" i might get more of a cardio workout and a KILLER LEG WORKOUT! eek! }(

You're right, Step Blast is a great, fun workout. I'm glad you mentioned it. I was trying to figure out what I'm going to do today- now I know.:)
 
I love this one too. It feels so good to do, it has balance and really works and moves you through ranges of motion too.
 
wow, wendy...you have your first baby due in october, and you're doing step blast??!!! :O WOW! good for you!!! you're definitely gonna be one 'fit mama'! :D

I love that part in Combo 3 where you start the three triples and the music becomes the BB theme - (Ready, Set, Go? I think...). It totally re-psyches me. Don't know why, just does.
