Good Self Tanner

Thought I'd add a review for Toma's :) :

The color guide is dark, which certainly helps prevent missing a spot or streaking. It kind of looks dirty when you first put it on though. If you're like me and never leave the house while "tanning," then it won't really matter. If, on the other hand, you don't mind getting dressed after drying and going out, keep the depth of color in the color guide in mind. Especially if you're pale like me.

There is no scent in the beginning. Within the hour though, that familiar self-tanner smell hit my nose.

I kept it on for only 6 hours, washing it off before bed. The color guide washed off, and the color left behind looked pretty good. Again, I'm very pale, so I don't want a drastic change anyway ~ a little golden tint is good enough for me. So I had a bit of color and no streaking. Cool.

It must have kept doing its thing overnight despite my shower, because I woke up to a beautiful golden tan the next morning. Not too dark, and not that sickly yellow you can sometimes get with gradual tanners, but a very natural looking tan. It's the color of my forearms after a summer of gardening.

2 days later, and it's still lookin' good.

I use the Jergen's Natural Glow Firming for Fair/Light skin. It's very subtle, which I like. I only use it at night, so the scent is not overwhelming. I've heard that DHA strips the skin of antioxidants, so I use an antioxidant lotion in the morning after I shower.
