Good morning! What's on your workout roster today?

Good morning! So I have 4DS Legs on the schedule but not sure about my cardio yet, what is everyone doing today?

I hadn't decided, but any of the 4DS are so good! I'll end up doing one of those, I never get tired of that little series, it's one of Cathe's best.

Bodystrikes 2, Garage Max, Dog Max, not necessarily in that order! I should be looking for a new pair of pants, I don't know where to look....:(......then there's yet another Cathe review, High Step Training Advanced, I think this one's a toughie (they're all toughies.....) But, then I am the queen of premix!

Glad you like Dove! I've had her workouts for a couple of years and really enjoy them.

I just finished Butts & Gutts. I'm off to run 3 miles!

I did KPC then Leaner Legs from CTX. KPC was so much fun - I really had a lot of energy. First time doing Leaner Legs - not bad!

I decided to ditch my rotation and started Cathe's November rotation...on the menu today was Hiit 40/20 and ab circuit weights and plates.

Phew! I'm so happy it's done.

Today is the start of easing back into my usual training schedule, after a scheduled 3 week break where I did a LOT of yoga (which was fabulous!). This morning was an hour on the bike trainer, and after work will be a short run.

Tomorrow I continue my 1RM testing for STS. I did a bunch of Chest (finished those!), Shoulders, and Biceps on Saturday. Ouch - I'm still sore! Legs and Back are on the schedule for tomorrow.

Oh yeah! DRILL MAX MONDAY! gotta love it!

First time the whole way through with a whopping 904 calories burned! I think I had a couple spots where I went to every other one, like the squat thrust part, high point was fast feet! Man is that a keeper or what!

WOW, 904??? Can I ask what you generally burn during other dvds?

Last month high calorie burner was High Step Challenge, 671 in 71 minutes the first time (higher longer 2nd time), Kick Max, entire routine first time, 694, I get into the 700's with Step Jump & Pump as well. Kick Punch & Crunch 582-591 68 minutes. I was using a wrist type HRM for those, a new one with chest strap for Drill Max. The numbers are fairly consistent but the new one tracks continuously. I've tracked my daily & workout HR since Nov. 2009.

The thing about Drill Max I think for me is each drill starts out and then takes you into higher zones, and each of these gets as Cathe says "a little bit harder" the numbers throughout show it. (average 153). I wouldn't have tried the whole thing if I wasn't feeling pretty good about it, and throughout kept asking myself "Am I strong enough for this?" and then "I am doing this!" it was a crazy weird sensation. Last month was a plateau buster.

Granted I don't complete everything exactly like the girls, but you do have to challenge yourself to gain a higher level of fitness. Yesterday, Drill Max 904 in 76 minutes.

Thanks Linda! And great work on your progress!

I have not done some of the others you have listed, but I do come in just a bit lower on KPC using a GoWearFit, probably around 540. I never measured Drillmax, I don't really like the arm band, but now I am really curious.

Back in October, I did all but the last drill in Drill Max and burn 449 calories.
I use the Bodybugg to track the calories burned.

Today I did -CLX Burn It Off

I think that the highest calorie burn I had was with Insanity- MIC. I burned 1040 calories ( or at least that is what the monitor said).

The highest calorie burn that I had at one time was when I participated in a triathlon. That calorie burn was off the wall!

My numbers are higher because I just recently added routines of greater length, higher intensity, higher impact, and heavier weight (not necessarily all at once.....). Any of these as well as raising the step height could give you a higher calorie burn.

Drill Max has it for intensity, impact, & length for me. That & my little dog barks at me when I do the football drills....:)....Great number Saundra!

Linda, thank you. But I cheated Drill Max, (sorry Drill Max) it was actually 483 calories burn. So I am sure if I would have done the last drill, I would have been well over 500 calories. Maybe next time.
