I hope everything is smooth for you tomorrow. Don't be shy about asking for the drugs. Wait a minute, it's Jes I'm talking to.

Be nice to the nurses tomorrow.

Marla:p }( :D ;-)

ETA: Jes is having oral surgery tomorrow and apparently it was a tough ordeal last time.

Hi Jes,

I don't know what's going on with you but good luck, whatever it is.

Like ^^^ said, just ask for the drugs and I'm sure everything will be fine:eek: ;)

Smoogy,

I just looked at your picture trail. How adorable! I'm just a sucker for doggies and kitties. I used to have 2 of each but I only have 1 cat now. I sure miss my brood--but my cat is a hoot. He makes me laugh out loud sometimes!

thanks ladies. i will do my best not to be a difficult patient. i appreciate you thinking of me:)

Jes - I'll be thinking of you and sending you lots of R&R vibes.

Mama Deb - I'm glad your surgery went well. I did wonder about that.

Good luck Jes. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers. I have also had oral surgery. I had no problems and for me it was way easier than any trip to the regular dentist!!..Yes, the drugs were good... :7 ...Carole

Pinky!

Thank you!!! I am such a baby! I am a worrier! The news I got wasn't the greatest but he got me on the right road. After he extracted my tooth he said, "Oh my!". Of course my mouth was wide open and he had tools/his hand in my mouth & I couldn't speak. Ha! Long story short, I had so much infection under the tooth that it had actually started eating away at my jawbone and right up into my sinus cavity! He said that there was a hole in my sinus cavity exposing it to ANYTHING which is not a good thing of course. He had to graft bone from my jaw over the area and make a flap. LOTS of steroids/antibiotics this past week and I am recovering just fine. I will have the implant placed after the bone graft heals in 3 months, then a crown. It is sooo great to know that the pain is gone now. Moral of story...watch out for walnut SHELLS inside your muffins!!! Awwwk! Thanks for your thoughts of me. You're a sweetie. Jes, sorry to hijack your thread. You will do GREAT!

every thing went fine. they had to take the tooth out in 4 pieces due to it's size and some of my jaw bone as well. my meds are working and i'm starving, so i must be fine:) thanks all of you for thinking of me. you're great !!

Mama D, i'm thrilled to hear that your ordeal went so well also.

Thanks Michele. I have far too many, but they are all too special to get rid of. I have only one child, so my DH & I can afford our brood, luckily.

RE: Pinky!

Yikes, Mama Deb! That sounds as unpleasant as I'm sure it was. Why is it, that when you're sitting in that chair, all you can do is wring your hands & twist your feet around each other several times over? At least that's what I try to do. I'm glad you got it taken care of. That is serious business.

Marla

OMG just reading this thread is making my teeth hurt & my stomach queasy.

Jes I'm glad everything went OK--4 pieces, ICK! I remember having my wisdom teeth removed though--they did give me some good drugs.
