I want to get the most out of these wks! I'm pretty good on the diet part and plan on really cleaning it up even more! I have slow and heavy, pyramids, PP and Power hour. I know Gym Styles is talked about a lot should I buy that or can I make due with what I have?

are you looking for only weight workouts or circuit workouts?...

If you want circuits, I really recommend the Terminator... I love this DVD.,.. it has 3 super challenging workouts in one DVD :)

Drill Max is also super tough.... you will definitely get in shape with these....

I'm currently working with the GS.... I'm not too in love with the idea of doing slipt routines, but it is said that the benefits are great ... so I'm giving them a try. GS legs is awesome!!!

S & H and Pyramids should be good for you to get you results. However if you can buy Gym Styles now that would work also. But don't feel that you need to buy Gym Styles right away to get the results you need. Many people on this forum swear by Slow & Heavy for giving them great results.

I didn't like much S & H. But I do like Pyramids and Gym Styles alot.

Eventually though you will want to get Gym Styles they are very good to mix into rotations to mix things up.

Happy Vacationing!!!!

Thanks!

What is the hardest (stength not endurance)full body routine she has in your opinion? Muscle Max? I like training low reps heavy weight.

Randi, IMO none of her full body routines follow a low rep heavy wt routine. Her full body routines are endurance based. You could modify though and go heavier. I have done this with MM before. Pick my wt and the rep range I want and just do that. Good luck!

Hi Randy - I want to echo the pyramids recommendation. I have seen great results with upper body pyramid in preparation for my wedding and honeymoon in a few weeks. I can't speak so much to lower body pyramid as I don't use any weights for lower body work because I add bulk easily in that region. But I would say that the pyramid method is great for building lean muscle, I have seen great results overall. My "armpit meat" is almost nonexistent at this point and I was beginning to think that was impossible!

Good luck with your preparation routine

Wendy

I've been trying to lose weight and get in shape for the summer. I've been doing the following routine for the last 5 weeks, and I'm seeing great results.

Mon: CTX 10-10-10 cardio only + Gym Style Back, Shoulders, Biceps
Tue: CTX All Step cardi only + Gym Style Chest & Triceps
Wed: Legs & Glutes
Thu: Step, Pump & Jump step section + 3 hi-lo sections + GS Back, Shoulders, Biceps
Fri: Kick, Punch & Crunch 37 min. Cardio Conditioning + GS Chest & Triceps
Sat: Legs & Glutes

I'm already noticing a nice change in my body. My arms have become more defined, and my clothes fit much better. I'm going to change the routine by choosing different cardio workouts, and doing GS Legs instead of L&G.
