Gloves used in disc 1?

Cathe, I noticed you girls wearing what appears to be the weighted gloves in disc 1, but they don't have the open palm like the guys gloves. Are you wearing these?

I'm looking for the weighted gloves that also have some padding in the palm. That's what the picture looks like for sure, but the description is "open palm." Help!

I believe Cathe and gang are wearing their weighted gloves over their regular lifting gloves and that's why the palm does not appear open on the weighted gloves. :=)

This sounds right...I think Cathe chatted about that l-o-n-g ago. At least thats what I did! lol

Can someone explain to me the point of open palm gloves? Isn't the point of gloves to have that added protection on your palm to make gripping more comfortable? I don't get it. Micro-load or not.

Micro Loads main purpose are to add small incremental weight loads like platemates. They are also used for kickboxing added intensity...or any cardio really.

IF the palms were closed they'd be too hot (cardio) and might not feel as comfy with the added wts - that would make the gloves fit tighter....
