Getting motivated again

I was wondering. Do any of you have a hard time getting back into the workouts after resting a long time to let an injury heal? I am having the hardest time ever! I have gained about 5 pounds and I really want to shed those pounds. But I am having a hard time getting motivated, I keep telling myself " Tomorrow I will start " or " It won't hurt to eat this today I will work it off tomorrow" and of course tomorrow comes and I do nothing.
 
This is a reasonable reaction, so don't beat yourself up over it. But remind yourself that nothing ever gets easier by not doing it. If it feels like it will be hard now, it will only get harder the longer you avoid it. Start now, and make the job easier.

Start small; pick your favourite workouts; take it one day at a time; don't be reluctant to modify if you need to. The important thing is just to do something. It does not have to be done at your former intensity level in order to be effective. Any movement you do, for any length of time, burns more calories than sitting on the couch procrastinating.

Hi ,I sometimes do the same thing. Just start with easy workouts and like I'm doing today stop those trigger foods . Its a new day , remember its ok to not be 100% Another words dont bag it all together if you goof and put the wrong foods in your mouth . Lots of little steps !!!! I'm so relieved that the holiday pressures are over !!!! Time to throw the junk away !!!! Happy new year ! take care Mary:) :)
