getting lean

Hello everyone I just started cathe and I want to make sure I eat right while doing her workouts so I don't get bulky. I just want to get leaner and cut. My problem is that I don't know how often I should eat carbs and how much. I know you need carbs for energy and fuel but I know that too much isn't a good thing either. I stick to whole grains but I need to know when and how often and how much carbs I need. I tried the no carb thing and it made me weak and too tired to workout so I know that isn't good at all. I would appreciate any advice you can dish out to me. Thanks and God Bless
 
everyone is different so you may have to play around with this. the easiest thing to do is have a serving of carbs with each meal. A serving is about 20-30g of carbs. Fruits are carbs as well so if you eat an apple lets say (20g of carbs) pair it with a protein (cottage cheese, cheese stick, protein shake, etc.) I also don't eat carbs for my last meal of the day. I stick with a protein and fat combo. Carbs are most important before and after your workout.
