Getting it done for November 2014

Morning!

I made it through my workout yesterday for GS Chest and Triceps. :) I only did the Time-saver version and boy am I sore!

Today's plan: Cardio Core Circuit. Better wear my HR monitor for this one! LOL!

Sherry: Nice job on your workout! I have that on tap for Saturday too.
Sometimes recipe changes are good and other times eh... Sorry it didn't workout this time around. We get used to a certain flavor I think.
I am not liking this change either! Was going to do a walk after work to de-stress but like you it was too dark :(

Trying to plan my workouts early in the morning. I get up between 4-5am and start my daily paperwork for the business. Heat my coffee twice and then hope for the best that the day won't be all that bad. Once the paper end is finished which is usually around 9 I head to do my workout.
This all depends on how much work is ahead of me for the day. It's all a timing thing.

I should add to this routine a meal plan. This has been really rough lately! Are any of you following a plan lately?

Today I will do SBF Barre Fire = 30 min + Vintage Lean+Toned Arms = 15 min.
I also will do JS D7 Dance Party = 30 min (youtube) + DVD : Latin Dance Walk = 30 min.

Heidi - that's a tough one. You will burn tons of calories. Yes, the Total Body Chisel + Burn = 30 min is on youtube. Sole Sculpt = 20 min is from her dvd/downloads. I hear you on the dark, took my dogs for a walk in the afternoon. Got attacked by another dog.

Sherry - Brawler fully recovered, thanks for asking. My tooth is still a little sensitive, other than that is fine. WTG, on CLB cardio.

Got in an easy 2 mile run (on the tm - raining and dark here) and SMax with the band, As for the canine - played with her sprinting back and forth down the hall - at least that got some of here energy out.

Heidi - High five - I know the express gives a great wo, too! Eating plan . . . did you really have to bring that up? Some days, spot on; others . . . well . . . not awful but not good - weight and inches going nowhere (at least not up!).

Belinda - High five - Love how you are combining both instructors. Do you do it in front of your TV or computer screen? Maybe we need to finally upgrade our wo electronics. That's awful about the dog - hope you and your dogs are ok.

Hey! Long busy Saturday! Cleaning that's all! My fingers are worn out. LOL!
Laundry is now in and dinner is done.

No workout other than scrubbing ovens etc. No workout Friday either! I went to bed at just after 5PM! Goes to show how this week has
been for me. Worked out only twice this week too. :/

Belinda: Sorry to hear about the dogs. Hope they get well soon. Yeah the owner must have voice control over her dog to be off leash here. :/

Not liking this dark early thing.... early mornings or afternoons.

ood evening,

I did my workouts this morning, just getting around to post.

DH and I went to a Art and Craft show, which took us a few hours.It was 25 different places , it was spread out through our city and near by ones. We went to places we didn't know it existed, lol. They had a lot of nice stuff, but way to much money for my wallet. We went to a farm, her husband is a blacksmith. He had lots of nice stuff. Thinking about him making me a a fireplace stand. They also sold organic, free range turkeys and lamb. It was nice to see the turkeys and lamb walking around free. I ordered my turkey for Thanksgiving already, all we need to do is pick it up the day before TG. That's out of the way. The lady cooked and had turkey out for people to try, it was so yummy! Of course, I made myself a little turkey sandwich.

Heidi - they have to be on a leash here too, it's the law! They dogs are fine, thank goodness. I was scared since Brawler had surgery not to long ago. You got a lot of UB workout in scrubbing your oven. I have a self cleaning oven. Good job!

Hi all!

No wo yesterday or today. Last night we went to the HS football game - team was in the playoffs. Unfortunately they lost. Today we replaced the leaking faucet and sink in our bathroom. Followed that fun with a glass of wine, so skipping tonight. Will get in a run tomorrow.

Belinda - sounds like a really fun day. Interesting that it was all spread out. Really made a day of it, I'm sure. And that turkey should taste real good being that fresh - mouth watering just thinking about it.

Heidi - Obviously you needed rest. Stress can do it. Hard to get it all in.

Just relaxing the night. May crash early. Hope you had a good one.

I am in Washington DC visiting my kids. Yesterday my DD and I went to DC for cooking convention at the National Convention Center. We saw Bobby Flay. We had so much fun. Today is my husbands birthday.

Today I will do SBF and JS workouts. I will post my workouts later.

Sherry - my husband didn't like them being so spread out. He said, they should have been all in one place, lol.

I finally got in my run - 2.75 miles, feeling good. Too dark for a dog walk - need to get us reflective gear and lights.

I did SB UB and JM w/stability ball this morning. I am still keeping up with my workouts. We also went hiking this afternoon.

I have to get ready, DH has a surprise for me this evening? LOL!

Ok so got up early to get into work. Went to the PO and the doors were locked. I completely forgot it was Veterans day! Well so much for
work! No shipments today either.
Came home: Cooked Pumpkin oatmeal in my crockpot for breakfast tomorrow. Then in my other crockpot: Slow-cooker Cranberry-Orange Pork Roast for dinner tonight.
Spent the rest of the day tiding up the house and doing laundry. I am exhausted now!

Yesterday was Flex Train and an online workout from BodyRock: Hiit Max day 36. Phew! I am feeling it all today too!

Belinda: Great job on your workout and Have a Great time whatever your DH has as a surprise for you. :)

Hi all!

So, no wo today, but I did go see a trainer. My company gives us access to a fitness facility, which is unfortunately in the opposite direction of my house. But since I'm not getting where I want on my own, thought I'd give it a try. So, today we talked about a plan of 3 days cardio and 2 days strength, since that's about what I am getting in. He's suggesting going heavy with compound movements, then some single leg balance movements to continue strengthening/matching my hips/glutes, like single leg squats on the bosu ball (that one should be interesting). Now that cc season is over, I should be able to make more time for me, right? 'Course, I might need to supplement with some Cathe.

Belinda - Hiking today? Wasn't it cold and wet? Maybe it hasn't made it as far as you yet. Enjoy being outside while you can. Now, what was the surprise? Keeping us in suspense!

Heidi - Yup, no mail today. Funny how some of these "holidays" don't click when it seems like a regular work day. Great job on FlexTrain yesterday. Yes, I am sure you were feeling it today - sneaks up on you.

DH took me to the Kennedy Center to see a play it called "Shear Madness". It was a blast. Today we are going to La Perla-Fine Italian Quasine, after dinner we will attend the Opera-La Boheme. I never been to an Opera, that should be interesting, lol. Having lots of fun.

I am done with my workouts. I did JS and SBF Tabata this morning. I bought a Fit bit flex, I getting all my steps in. We are walking a lot. Food been good too. Not overeating. Tonight I will eat.

Sherry - it's been hot here since Sunday. You don't need a jacket during the day. It's suppose to get cold by Thursday or Friday. It's coming! LOL! How cool is that…you getting a trainer. Please, keep us posted on how it goes and what you learn. I be honest, I didn't get anywhere until I switched to different workouts. I would follow whatever the trainer tells you, not supplement with some Cathe, JMO! Maybe you need to change whatever you doing right now?

Run done - 2.5 easy miles - plus stretch. Need to invest in more reflective gear in order to take the dog when I get home - just too dark.

Belinda - what a great DH! Both nights sound wonderful. I'm sure you'll enjoy it! New toys - Fitbit flex - are always fun. I am excited about a trainer but also a bit nervous - it will definitely push me more, which is probably what I need.

Argh! that's all I have to say about this week so far! No workout tues or weds unless you want to count housework and regular work.

Oh Nice Sherry! I hope you enjoy your trainer and like Belinda said he/she can help you get things sorted out for the best routine for you. :)
Using the bosu for legs is tricky at first. Definitely a balance challenge! I have been trying to figure out the correct amount of air to put in mine. ;)
Too hard...too soft etc.
I also look forward to your review!

OK back to doing something today! Cardio Leg Blast here I come! :)

Cardio Leg Blast is DONE! I did the premix: rounds 1-6

Feeling really drained for this cardio today. PHEW! huffed and puffed my way through it.
