Getting it done for April 2015

Wow! You both were early birds today. I'd say I'm slacking, but I've been sweating, too. XTrain Ride earlier, then D24 a bit later. Yay! I'm done with M2! Also, dog walks, stair walks (for laundry and house cleaning), more walks for groceries.

High five to all! Turkey breast in oven for dinner, making it easy on me so I can get other things done while still cooking dinner. Day is warm and sunny - a perfect spring day. Hope you are enjoying yours, too!

Today DH and I are starting week 8 of 21 DF :) Still loving the workouts. We will do 21 DF TB cardio.

Just finished my WO.
Instead of RWH Low impact and X10 I ran 4.20 miles on the TM with an Ifit program. OMG! If my legs weren't already sore from
yesterday they certainly will be today! LOL! Hill intervals at a steady pace. Last hill about killed me because it was at a constant 10%.

Off to shower and work. Major stretch later for sure.

LOL! Belinda Yes I am sore for sure! Ok so today was suppose to be RWH circuit Lower Body. Hmmm well I am
switching my days around. So today's plan is RWH circuit Upper instead. Tomorrow I will do the Lower body.

Getting ready for work early this morning so my workout will have to be later this afternoon. Keep my fingers crossed
it happens!

Eating has been pretty good for the most part. Although last night was Grilled Steak nachos so I am sure that was way
off track. ;) Oh well once in awhile having a cheat day isn't so bad.

What's everyones plan for this Wednesday? :)

Happy Wednesday!

WO today - 3 mile run - and it's done. Yesterday was a rest day, as DD had a soccer game. Soccer game nights are difficult to schedule wo's around, and now the season is in full swing, with 2-3 games every week until the end of May. Wondering how to get in STS since time is the constraint, and M3 is long. I'm making good progress on running and the weather is finally nice, so don't want to give that up. Thinking about switching weight work over to RWH, but haven't decided yet.

Belinda - Week 8? 3rd round? DH must be really liking it if he's stuck with it this long. I forget what else you are doing in addition to 21DF. Are you still doing Paleo?

Heidi - Great run the other day. Did you get in the LBC today? Eating has been off, thanks to all the baked goods DD made while she was home and unable to do anything else. But those are all gone, so back on track here.

Sara - How was your trip?

Time to clean up and relax for the night. Hope you had a good one.

Sherry - we love 21 DF! I am doing the 21 DF containers, not the Paleo. Well, I think they are similar anyway :) In addition to 21DF, I walk my dogs.

Yesterday was RWH circuit upper instead of lower body. Even that got my legs good! ;)

Today's plan: Run and or bike with core work.

Belinda: How was your workout with 21 DF Cardio? :) Nice to have a program that you and your DH can enjoy together.

Sherry: OI! Sounds like a very hectic schedule for you and your DD.
I really like the RWH workouts mainly because they are shorter than STS. They work you good too!
Great job on your running! Love having warmer weather so I can get outside more too.

No wo the past two days - been running with the kids - but today will be a 3 mile run.

Belinda - We're here, just not as consistent as you are! Keep up the awesome work. And sticking with your diet plan.

Heidi - How was yesterday's run or bike?

Good evening,

Sorry for not checking in yesterday. I had some zucchini for dinner last night and it messed up my stomach. I was in so much pain, hardly slept :) The last 2 times I ate Zucchini the same thing happened ? Just don't get it? Zucchini and my stomach don't mix:(

Heidi - you kicking butt with your workouts. Keep it up! How are you liking Jillian M. Killer body?

Sherry - I agree, day's are like that with kids :) Been there done that! Hope you had a great run.

Belinda: Argh...sorry about your issue with zuccini. Guess this must be taken off your food list. Some foods I have to totally avoid for the same
reason. Live and learn as we get older right?

Oh many that JM core workout yesterday got me really good around my hips. EEK! Must have been the weighted side bends we were doing.
These workouts are different and are a total sweat fest. :) I can't stick to doing them as she recommends because I get bored easily. I am throwing them in here and there with my current Jan. 2015 Cathe rotation.

Today:
Hill climb at a steady pace. OOF! 3.34 miles Total elevation gain 1123 and burned almost 500 cals.
After I added my scheduled workout:
Total Body Stretch: Stability Ball Stretch #2 Really needed that!

Off to get a good lunch. I made my Spiced Lentil Soup yesterday. :)

Sun: Yoga or a good stretch

Running and abs thrown in here and there as well. :)
 
Good morning!

Oh, I was so stiff last night. I went for a run on the rail trail, and forgot how the "back" of the out & back was a steady incline the whole way. Made it, but legs were really tired and stiff last night. Have loosened up this morning, so I'll be riding the bike while I'm doing laundry. I'm also going to try one of the Kettleworx DVDs I picked up on clearance. Those are only 20 minutes according to the description, so that should fit into my time constraints through the end of May.

Belinda - Sorry about the zucchini. But it is good when we figure out which foods are the ones causing us issues. The yoga will feel good - just the right pace. Enjoy your walk, hopefully before the rain. We're getting rain tomorrow, and then a big drop in temps. :( I'm liking this spring weather.

Heidi - Great run and bike ride. Good plan for the week. I'd love to see the recipe for the spiced lentil soup. :)

Laundry switch time, which means jump on the bike time. Enjoy your day!

Sherry - good job on your run/stretch last night. How did you like the Kettleworx workout? I have them still in shrink wrap :p I never had problems before with food? Except zucchini :( I will stay way from zucchini that's for sure:) Hope you had fun with your spin workout.
