getting back into action again

Sorry, the first part of my post didn't go. Anyway, I used to be in great shape when I was doing the Firm 10-15 years ago but I have since had two kids and have had to work full time so I have not been able to be as healthy as I would like to be. I bought seven of Cathe's new DVD and I love them. She really gets the old bod moving and sweating, and I feel so relaxed when I have done them! I would like to buy some of her old videos (what great prices!) and would love some opinions as to what to buy. I have to lose 30 pounds (found out I need thyroid and that should help, I hope). I love this sight and I thank you for letting me join!
 
WELCOME WELCOME WELCOME Tallchick!!! thanks for joining in! it's great that you are getting back at it! my favorite "old" workout is Rythmic Step. i love all the challenging choreography in this one! which new ones did you get? are you looking for strength training workouts or aerobics? talk to ya later!

You definitely aligned yourself with the "cadillac" of exercise videos by choicing Cathe. These forums are excellent for advise, support and friendship. I don't think you can go wrong purchasing any of Cathe's videos. Go for it!

let's see. I have: Gym Style Legs, High Step Circuit, Basic Step and Body Fusion, Low Max, high Step Circuit. I am waiting Patiently (yeah, right) for Muscle Max and Pyramid. These are the best workouts and I feel really good after doing them. I can't wait to get to age 35.

Welcome. Cathe is way better than The Firm. I'm sure you'll be happy with your choice.
 
Welcome! I'm fairly new to the forum myself, so just a warning. Not only are Cathe's workouts addictive... THIS PLACE IS ADDICTIVE.;)

But it's a fun and healthy addiction.:)
 
Hello! I am new to Cathe, too, and have been addicted for about 6 months. She makes me laugh, makes me cry, but most importantly, she makes me SWEAT! I have the classics and hits DVDs, and I really do like them all. My favorites, however, are Power Max and Step Works. For strength, I REALLY like MIS, and I feel it every time.
Congradulations on getting back into the groove, again! The hardest part is getting started and you did it! Good luck and have fun!
