Getting A Little Mushy

Thank you folks for all your wonderful responses. I honestly believe I would never have made it through this last week without this forum. My home page is the New York Times, and it comes up every time I open my laptop. I can bearly read the news anymore. Sometimes it seems like the whole world is full of hostility and hatred. I probably never mentioned it here, but my husband worked on the 97th floor of the World Trade Center. Last year on Sept. 11 we were on our honeymoon in London. I work all day long with bullying men. You can see why I love to come to these forums and talk to other women who are warm and supportive! Thank you all so much for being who you are. :)

RE: What time do you exercise?

4am? I couldn't do that. It's so dark at that time and I feel really alone when it's dark (if you know what I mean). I prefer to rise when I know the world is already up and running and go to bed same time as everyone else.

I usually do exercise after work because that is the time when I most need to wake up and after I have my bath, I feel that I am free of the office (like I have washed away all the office dirt, if you know what I mean). I used to like it when I could work out in the gym at work, but since i am no longer working there I have to go home and miss out on the after office socialising, which is fine by me as all they ever talk about is work work work.... God, I just can't get away from it fast enough!

Wow, Nancy! Thank God, you were on your honeymoon! I have goose bumps thinking about all the what if's. I have friends in D.C. who are of course, being held hostage by the sniper/terrorist. So awful! Do awful!

Maybe you should change your homepage. Mine is the breast cancer site which links up to 5 other charities. I can donate to by merely clicking. Since I come on every day anyway, the first thing I do is click each one, then check my email!

Here's a link for anyone who wants a simple way to help out those less fortunate. http://www.thebreastcancersite.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/CTDSites

Blessings!

MaNY Friends..

Since discovering Cathe and these forums some--oh, 3 years ago...I have made many friends--notably Deb H and HB--whom I have since met personally. But, all the rest of the folk who are very supportive--this had been an injury-laden year for me --plus, Cathe chiming in for her "regulars"--and also, newcomers is such a cheery note. All of the people on this forum have helped me; instructed me; or entertained me....Murph
