Today was MIS. Tough workout!}( I was thinking MIS would be good to use as a leg workout option sometimes. I thought the legs were worked really good. Also, biceps were killer}( }( I wasn't sure what weights to use, because I haven't done this in forever, so I used what Cathe did for some and upped some:
Stats:
All leg work with 40# barbell
Bench press 40# both sets
Flies - Set 1 - 20#; Set 2 - 15#
1-arm rows - 20# both sets
Bbl Row - underhand and overhand - 40#
Rear Flyes - 10# set 1, 8# set 2
Bbl Upright Rows – 35#
Bbl Overhead Press – 35#
Lat Raises - 10# both sets
Crazy 8s - 30# -1st set; second set used 2-12#db!
Hammer curls - 12# 1st set
Alternating Hammers with twist - 12#
French Press - 30# (arms were SHAKIN’ from the bicep work and was worried about hitting myself in the head!!!)
Overhead Press - 35#
Dips - 35# bbl
1-arm kickbacks - 10# both sets
Meals today:
(ate some hard pretzels at mahjong last night(a few). I followed what I posted yesterday, but had strawberries for dessert for dinner)
before workout: 2 egg whites (hard boiled eggs)
bfast: steal cut oatmeal with spray butter and 1/2tsp of brown sugar and an orange
snack: 1/2 a cliff builers protein bar
lunch:??? maybe an egg white omlete? and fruit
snack: hummus and 2 pitas (hooked on this for a snack:9 )
dinner:2 boca chicken patties and string beans and challah (but just one slice!!really!!) and a fruit
snack: either WW ice cream (2pts.) or puffins cereal
Gin~ Step blast today? did you do Ab hits #2? I was thinking of maybe doing SJP abs instead if I am pressed for time. I can totally understand your needing to rest yesterday, MIS is one tough workout! I hope all is okay for you today. I would think since you know the K. teacher you'd be working with, you'd have an edge for the job!
Marcy~ Are you sore from yesterday? Very impressive weight usage!! Hope all goes well with your house progress.
I was supposed to get highlights today, but last night the spring on the garage door broke, so I am now stuck in the house from 2-4 waiting on the repair guy!!x( Luckily, my friend who I work with passes my house in the morning, and will take me to work
