Good Morning :)

Today was BC from the 4DS. I really enjoyed this, but it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. If I had more time, I would have done the drills again. I think a good mish mosh would be the cardio only of both: BC4DS and DM!! That would be fun! Now that I've done all the cardio from the new series I have to say I like KB the best. I am really looking forward to the Nov. rotation.

Gin~ What did you end up doing today? I told my boys about your dad painting Nolan Ryans picture for your son, and about your sons room. They loved it!! I will check in this weekend and see how you liked day one of the rotation. Will you be doing the dvds as is, or weights first? Marcy and I are doing weights first.

Marcy~ How was dancing last night?

Tracee~ Did you get a workout in? and how is DS doing?

Tonight is younger DSs baseball game for the championship and Sat. is my older sons. I hope they both win!!! I can only imagine the teasing if one wins and the other doesn't!!:)

Have a great day!!
BBL,

Good Morning!

Today was 3 mile run and then abs from C&W. So glad that it's Friday!! I am quite tired!:p

Deanie--Glad that you liked BC. Ooooohhhhh....BC plus DM drills!}( }( }( I may do Tracey's Step Sweatfest tomorrow. I think mentally, it would tough for me to take 2 rest days and then 1 yoga day too! Sick, I know. My rest day is usually yoga. I guess I will also do weights first. Don't want to feel left out!;-) I'll try to take pics of ds's room and my dad's paintings and e-mail to you. Good luck with the baseball championship games!

Tracee--Were you able to get a workout in today?

Marcy--What did you do today?

Have a great day!
Gin:)

Good Morning!

No workout for me this morning.:( DH stayed home because we're getting new recliners delivered today. He was complaining yesterday that when he moved out the sofa and tried to clean under the rug, all the finish from the wood floor was coming off due to the rug moving when I exercise. I am fortunate that I have a DH who waxes floors though.:) So this morning was just a little Clean Max and hopefully I'll get Chest & Back in later on.

Deanie - As I was reading your post, I was thinking how BC compares to Drill Max. So, what do yout think? Actually your mish mosh sounds good and would only take about 66-70 mins. for the Timesaver Cardio Premix from DM and BC. I saw somebody slightly revised the Nov. rotation and stuck in Core Synergistics which I thought was a good idea. I might consider this if I can fit it in. Dancing was great last night. I like to do partner dances but since DH doesn't come and there aren't a lot of gentlemen there, it's a problem but there are a couple and I managed to do a little partner dancing last night. One of the guys is a good partner and really knows how to lead. We did a little rumba, mambo and cha cha and we learned two new dances. Good luck with DS's games tonight and tomorrow. I hope they both win.

Gin - Have fun with Step Sweatfest tomorrow. I'm going to have to try and fit that one in a rotation again sometime soon. It was fun.

Tracee - Hope you were able to workout today and that things are getting better with DS.

BBL.

Hi ladies!

I'm so glad it's Friday. I'm getting really tired of waking my kids up every morning and it's only early November. Ugh!

I managed to do PS C,S & T. I had a really good workout and I agree with whoever said yesterday that this series is under rated. I pushed myself on all of the weights and even did 50lbs on the barbell for chest. I really didn't think I'd be able to get it into position but it wasn't as bad as I thought. I may be able to do 60 with the new series. I also did abs from KB and I really feel those. The split leg crunches really get in there good.

DS is doing better. He's even agreed to attend an assembly in school today where the topic is about the Columbine shootings. Last week he said he didn't want to go to it but he's feeling better and didn't think it would bother him. I guess the dad and uncle of the first girl that was killed that day go around and talk to schools about bullying, etc. We see the therapist on Monday night so I'm hoping she will get him to open up more and share his true feelings.

Deanie - Good luck with the baseball championships. It still seems weird to hear you talk about fall baseball. Very foreign to me. Although now that we're able to do indoor baseball here I guess it wouldn't be strange if my ds played baseball all year round.

Gin - Can't wait to hear how you like day one of the rotation. Even though I've done some sections of the new dvd's, I haven't done any of the weight work.

Marcy - I hope you're able to get your workout in. I know it's frustrating when something stands in your way of working out.

Have a great weekend everyone.

Hi Tracee!

So glad you got your workout in and that it was a great one!:) I think CS&T is the best workout of the PS series although it was Deanie who feels its underrated. When I did PS last week, it was the first time I did bench press with 50#. I think both of the ab workouts from the new series are good. I'm glad DS is doing better. Bullying is one of the biggest problems in school and it needs to be addressed. I'm sure it's not an easy assembly for DS to get through but it's great he's willing to go to it. Indoor baseball year round sounds like a great idea.

Marcy--Where did you find the slightly revised version of the November rotation? I would love to look at it.

Thanks,
Gin:)

Good Afternoon Everyone!

Gin~ it's in the open discussion forum.

Tracee~ Glad things are loooking up with DS. Good job with the workout today!

Marcy~ You are so lucky your DH does floors!! Mine can use it, but I just don't want to spend the money, so I cover it up with an area rug!!LOL I didn't like the revised rotation, so I will be doing it as is. I'm just not mentally there for core synergistics right now.

Have a great weekend girls:)

I got the green light~ I will definately be teaching music appreciation for enrichment for Dec~Feb! Very excited!!:7 :7
