Good Morning all :)

Okay, your going to laugh, I just realized we are not aphabetical in our "subject line post". LOL Apparently when I suggested we change to include everyone, I was half asleep!! and didn't know the alphabet!!:+ Oh well, I like it this way!!

Today I did CK. As you guys know, I love this workout. I always feel its a total body workout! Tomorrow I will do S&H shoulders, HIIT on the TM and B&G abs. I forgot to mention, I liked the abs from yesterday on S&H bi and tri. No DOMs today, which I am surprised about!

Tracee~ Rise and Shine :) Did you get up and workout today??

Marcy~ Were you out late last night? How was dancing? I was out till 11:30 pm playing Mahjong last night, I only got up this morning, because if I don't workout this morn. I'm done for the day!!}(

Gin~ What did you do today??

Good Morning!

Today was 3 mile run and S&H Shoulders. I used almost the same weights as Cathe. When she went up to 8# on the posterior delts, I had to stay with 5#. I am going to do PS next week and I don't know what after that. (week3-S&H, week 4-PS??) I plan on doing BB yoga tomorrow. I haven't done yoga in a while!

Deanie--I never even thought about our names being alphabetical!:eek: Glad you got to do your fav...CK today. I am so impressed that you were able to get up to workout after so little sleep!:p

Deanie - LOL at your alphabet error. I just knew that my "T" was in the right spot!

Today I did get up and picked a random cardio workout from On Demand Exercise TV. It was okay but definitely didn't get my heart rate up. I probably should have just done one of Cathe's cardios but I was looking for something different.

Deanie - I'm very impressed that you got up this morning after being out until 11:30. Let us know when you crash today. :) I also liked the abs from bi and tri yesterday, I don't think I usually do those. I laughed at your rise and shine comment and then I started thinking how much easier I would get up if I had all three of your voices as my alarm telling me to get out of bed and get moving. ha!

Gin - I hope your medicine ordeal gets figured out. I hate feeling tired all the time. You are a trooper though because you seem to still be able to get all of your workouts in.

Marcy - I love that we have you around to give us descriptions of other instructors. So when the time comes that I can spend more money on myself I'll know what's good. :D

Hi Ladies!

Today was S&H Shoulders, B&G abs and SM2. I didn't go dancing last night because the roads were flooded but it gave me a chance to do Kari Anderson's Angles, Lines & Curves 2. This is very similar to her Reach but still very different. I immediately liked it because it had the same music as Stretch Max. She has some different moves in this one, it's more flowy than Reach which is a little more athletic. It has some tough plank moves where you have to go up to plank from your forearms. I think there was a move similar to this either in Core Synergistics or Chest & Back or Chest, Shoulders & Tris from P90X. There was some pilates but I would say it was more ballet and yoga moves. I can't decide which one I like more but they're both exactly what I need. Now on to S&H Shoulders:

Front Raise: Set 1 - 10#, Sets 2&3 - 8#
Side Lat Raise (I like the angle in this one): All sets: 10#
Posterior Delt: All Sets - 10# (these were tough)
Seated Overhead Press: (I really felt like I was getting fried by this point) - Set 1 - 15#, Sets 2&3 - 13# (I guess Cathe was too because she lowered hers as well).
Side Lying Extensions: 5# both sets (this was also killer, it kind of sneaks up on you.)

B&G Abs were good, not too difficult. I still like B&G stability ball abs better. One of my favorite moves in SM2 is where we lay on our stomachs over the ball and just hang. It feels so good.

Deanie - I couldn't even think about doing a kicbox workout this weekend. My whole upper body is sore. Since I didn't get my dancing in yesterday, I'm going to try and fit in a dance workout and possibly yoga (I'm dreaming here) this weekend. I liked S&H abs yesterday too. I set a new record for myself - 4 ab workouts in one week.:)

Tracee - WTG on getting up and doing a workout this morning:)! Is your alarm clock far from your bed? Mine's on the other side of the room so I have to get out of bed to turn it off. Aside from Cathes, I have Tracey's and Amy's coming so there'll be plenty more descriptions coming. I admit it - I'm an addict. I did add a couple of things to my trade list though.

Gin~ WTG for following Cathe today. I think I am going to try to follow Cathe on weights for shoulders also. I think shoulders are my weakest muscle. Hope you figure out your meds soon!

We should have the new dvds by Fri. next week the latest!! Whooo hoo!! Doing the happy dance!! (I am still going to finish out the rotation though! Till Cathe posts a nov. one)

Hi Again!

Deanie - Yes, I am having open house. I have one bright thing to look forward to: DH says he is so sick of cleaning, we're going to get a cleaning lady when we move!:9 Someone was supposed to have come on Tuesday and never showed up:( so I hope they come tomorrow. My broker said they really liked the outside and wanted to see the inside. I will be finishing out the rotation as well. I think good things will happen with it this month. We'll have to see who gets the new DVDs in their hot little hands first. Hope everything goes well with your DS's games tomorrow. DH just bought us a crockpot. I thought I remember you mentioning you had one. Any good recipes?

Tracee - Good luck with your kids games as well. Hope you get some workouts in.

Gin - Are you feeling less tired today?

Hi again -

I wanted to add that I have major DOMS in my triceps today. Especially when I touch them, ow!

It's going to be fun to see who gets the new workouts first. I think I ordered on the first day but later in the day. Plus I just did regular delivery, not express or anything.

Marcy - That's great that your husband wants to get a cleaning lady when you move. That will be a great moving present!!

I'm really going to try to get up and do the shoulder workout tomorrow and not put it off until Sunday. The problem is that we have a soccer game at 9am so that means I have to get up early!

Deanie - good luck with the baseball games. How many more do you have? Is it getting to be too cold for baseball? It's going to be in the 30's tomorrow morning when we're outside watching soccer and I'm already cringing at the thought of being cold. ;(

I feel so left out. I don't have any DOMS today.;-) My pecs and hamstrings were sore earlier in the week, though.

Marcy--I will have to look for my crockpot recipes for you. Good job on the shoulders! Whew!!}( Good luck with the Open House and Tuesday also. I'm glad that you admit you are a exercise Video Addict!:7 Where are you selling those you don't want? I still am pretty tired. I have been taking an aft. nap when I get home and I just konk out. I'm sure you girls with children at home, don't want to hear that I'm taking a nap...sorry!

Tracee--Maybe we could take turns calling you to wake you up!;-) Ha! Except that you are an hour earlier. Glad that you'll check in tomorrow. Shoulders is only about 30 min. Enjoy your kids games tomorrow.

Deanie--Have you crashed? Do your kids have games tomorrow? I am giving the meds 3 weeks.

I found one site and my DH found another but it takes forever to look through all the recipes. Thanks, shoulders are one of my strongest body parts.
