Functional Upper Body

I did this one today and once again, really liked it. Many new moves, easy pacing, moderate weights. As in her Live workouts, she stops for water, which I greatly appreciate. I never preview, so I didn't realize that the balance disks are for the add-on workout, so if you are like me, and just like to wing it, save the disks for the second workout. This one was easygoing, and not very challenging for me. But I will definitely look forward to doing again and again.

I did FUB along with the balance disks bonus. I did the core bonus workout, too. The weights ranged from 3 to 15 lbs. So it wasn't about lifting heavy or getting into a sweaty mess. I really like the idea of functional moves and incorporating a lot of balance exercises. The disks are challenging but kind of fun. The exercises were new and fresh and the bonus core had some new challenging moves too.

I did the FUB today and really enjoyed it. I also did the low impact cardio bonus workout - really like that one as well. I was disappointed there was no cool down and stretch at the end.
I usually do more of my own stretches at the end of (& before) my workouts which helps me feel more cooled down or warmed up. I think my aging body needs a little extra time to catch on to what's happening. So even when there's not an extended cool down, I still get it in on my own. There are certain stretches I need to do more of anyway, especially ones involving my shoulder & hips. It helps me personalize my own workouts. I have also added on mobility or yoga timesavers at the end of my workouts. That also helps.
