Fun/Intense Cardio

Yesterday I mish moshed Drill Max and Circuit Max cardio only, I started with DM warm up and 1st drill, paused and did the first cardio section of CM then just kept going back and forth between the two. I used CM on VHS, the DVD isn't well chaptered so I'm not really sure how it would work with a multi disc player. Just thought I'd share, it was really fun; a solid, hard workout and a veritable smorgasbord of aerobic styles and methods.

Laurie, that does sound like fun. I have a built in dvd player and a multi disc so can run run both at the same time. I have done the cardio only using the CM dvd and forwarding just like I would when doing a vhs tape. I really do wish this was chaptered because having a cardio only premix would be fun.

Laurie-
That sounds really fun. I'm going to try that because I have the VHS CM like you do and DM.
Thanks for sharing this!

If you have the right equipment, you can record your CM onto DVD-Ram format and chapter it yourself. I believe DVD ram is the only format you can do this and they are more expensive than others. Probably worth it, though, because I doubt SNM plans to re-release older workouts with better chaptering, premixes, etc. when they can keep putting out new ones

Wendy, I have a RAM dvd recorder/ player. The only thing is I find the only place I can play them back is on that player because none of the others support the Ram format:( I love the way it instantly chapters my family vids where I stop and start the camera so I can pic particular events I want to watch. I have found it is very hard to find a RAM player.

Diane Sue - I just checked out your web site and I have to say you look TOTALLY AWESOME!! I am truly inspired. Thank you.

Hi Laurie:

I just wanted to let you know that I tried your idea of combining both CM an DM together. However, I started with CM warm up and 1st cardio segment of CM and then I did the 1st cardio segment of DM and then went back and forth from both the DVD and tape. Oh my, that was so much fun and what a workout. I have a DVD and VHS player in 1. It felt good to march in place fast fowarding to the next cardio section of CM. Wow, the workout including the planks at the end of CM and CM stretch took me almost 90 minutes. I was drenched and felt awesome when I was done.

Thanks and if you have any other fun/intense cardio - let me know.

Have a great day!

Erin
