Full body weight workout

do you own any full body workouts already? what's your fitness level?

I think MuscleMax is a great total body workout.

I like Muscle Endurance, but it's a higher rep type of workout. I don't know if that matters to you or not.

I myself am on the fence about Muscle Max.

Oh yeah, Muscle Endurance is fantastic and it comes with Bootcamp -also great. I think Muscle Endurance a little more challenging than Musclemax, but is lighter weights/higher reps.

Depends on your goals.

thanks ladies

I have muscle endurance but haven't done that yet

i haven't lifted in about 2 months but did legs and glutes today and was able to keep up

i've been doing HIIT workouts and lots of running just got a little burned out on the lifting and i'm regretting it now. i haven't gained any weight but all my clothes are tight and I took my inches and they aren't looking good at all

i just feel terrible and i look totally different

i WAS doing pyramids and some firm before i stopped lifting

i have slow and heavy and i have gym style and pyramids

i had bought muscle endurance about 3 months ago but i have yet to try it

so guess i'll start that a couple times a week

anything you recommend TO IT

i just have to get tight again. the inches on my butt and hips are terrible. as i said, i haven't gained weight but none of my pants are fitting and my butt has grown :(

the power of lifting

so what else would you recommend. i'm tired of doing what i have. they are getting boring and i think thats what burnt me out

Maximum Intensity Strength is an oldie, but in my opinion Cathe's best full-body workout. It will challenge you and work you thoroughly, but it won't intimidate you. The sets are 8-16 reps, and Cathe uses a 35-pound barbell and 8-20-pound dumbells, so there's room to grow with it.

ok you have a nice collection but it sounds like you got a little burned out.
If you haven't done Muscle Endurance, I would start with that one. But it sounds like you need variety (?) and if you do that one a couple of times per week, you might get bored again. So I'm thinking, get Muscle Max for a nice newness factor and then maybe rotate through the workouts you have but try some of the premixes instead of the regular workouts. Premixes often jazz up a workout that you are growing tired of.

i just ordered this morning: Power Hour + Maximum Intensity Strength + Body Max which will give me some new workouts

i'll rotate these three and muscle endurance and should be okay with variety

thanks a ton girls. really appreciate it

You said you have the Pyramids? Then try the bonus combo - it's a really great full body workout!

Pyramids has a bonus combo- honestly i never look at the premixes or combos THANK YOU

i just mailed back my pyramids becuase it kept jamming on me so as soon as I get a new one, i'll try it out. i love pyramids

Although it is not out yet, STS should help with the boredom, I think it has something like 41 videos, you do 3 different weight workouts a week for 3 months, and do whatever cardio you want for the other days. She has tons of info on the STS program on the website and in the STS blog. The intensity of the weights you will use will change each month as well.

I'm not nearly as familiar with all of the videos like others on this board, but many of them come with pre-mixes that mix up the videos for you, some even combine two different workouts into one, like Kick, punch, crunch and Legs and Glutes has great combo premixes. I know the Muscle Max has premixes, not sure about Gym Styles, I think with GS you can do your own mixing and matching by chapter.

Hi There!

Muscle Max is a good one; also Maximum Intensity Strength, and Power Hour is also good. Any of Cathe's workouts that are circuit workouts are good for total body weight work, and they have the extra benefit of cardio. Good luck!
