Hey fellow Peepcicles!
I'm freezing tonite too and need to go out into the garage and dig out my fuzzy socks!!! but not because it's freezing outside... just got done with GSCT and feeling a bit "strange"... it is TTOM for me, so maybe that's it... I was so excited to be able to use my High Step risers tonite though... how silly! AND I got to use my slanted risers too! Love those incline presses and flies!
Ellie: did you ever get warm today? I truly miss my fire place!!! You are such a great little Santa's helper! What a joy to see that even in economic hard times, people still give to help kids! I'm sure your beloved pediatritians are smiling down as people carry on their wishes!
Wouldn't it be cool if there was not a single kid in your area that had to go without at Christmas this year?! all because of the generosity of the whole community!
Vilma: OMG!!! I'm barely cognosant enough to put one foot in front of the other when I get out of bed, let alone to drink 20 oz's of water! I guess I'm gonna have to try to the ol' "force it down" mentality... I can tell that the weather is changing and my skin and body are craving more fluids... My mom carries around a water bottle due to a chronic cough, but I am always amazed how much she drinks... you put her to shame! It definately makes it easier to get in your 64 oz's when you have 60 by 8am! I did manage to put in 4 more water bottles into my fridge this afternoon, and will definately give it a try tomorrow and see if I can manage to drink those 4! that would be a great accomplishment for me!
Karin: I have heard that Denver is a very strange climate! Not sure if it is the altitude or what, but have seen 60 degree days with 6 inches of snow on the ground in January! We used to have the same sort of days in Alaska, just not to the extremes, but the weather people always said "wait 5 minutes and the weather will change"! I was also charmed by your little cafe! DH and I used to live in a quaint little fishing village in Washington State, across the sound from Seattle, and LOVED going to all the little whole in the wall places... some really YUMMY food and pretty ingenious surroundings... There was one I remember that had a bakery that made some to-die-for pastries... criossants with ham and bre cheese!!! awesome! and cookies the size of softballs! You will have to let us know how you enjoy the 'tea party'! Thanks for sharing that with us!
Wendy: well, not being that "social" I do question the sanity of ANYONE that invites more than one or two people over to their house, and two weekends in a row is just plane unthinkable for me!!! I like my peace, quite and tranquility! lol!!! but good for you for having the Moxy to do all that entertaining! Those pastries and cookies sound absolutely divine!!! So sorry for the insomnia... I just couldn't take it any more and had to resort to meds, but do understand that being comatose with a little one would not be advisable... I do believe that Advil PM is much better (with virtually NO morning after hangover feeling) for an OTC aid... although if you never know when you are gonna wake up it's sorta hard to know when to take them! Hope your workout tires you out enough tonite to leave you in lala land for the entire night!
Waves to JJ, Laura, Heather, Jerry and all peeps who follow... sweet dreams!
