Found a new yoga source with affordable and good downloads

For some reason yoga seems to be adopting downloads faster than the rest of fitness.

I am a long time yoga today enthusiast where a one hour yoga session download is $4 for non-members and just $3 for members. The production values can compete with professionally done DVDs. There is no music soundtrack, but the instruction is outstanding and the variety they bring to each routine amazes me. I find the classes better than many on DVD.

Yoga journal offers downloads and so does a site called yoga download.

I stumbled into this new site today called my yoga online. I am quite sure someone has posted already but searching is tough as the search phrase applies to just about any yoga post.

iPad/iPhone/itouch format is pretty affordable compared to DVDs. They have sessions ranging from twenty minutes to ninety min and price seems based on length. I just bought these three videos.
Dynamic Vinyasa for Strength and Balance 75 min
Summer Seasonal Vinyasa Flow 35 min
Summer Seasonal Yin Restorative Yoga 20 min

I paid less than the price of one DVD for all three and they downloaded and were ready to use in about an hour.

I did the first routine and found it delightful. Mara Branscombe who leads is a good instructor who is strong, limber and athletic. She expects you to know the poses, so the form instruction does not extend to basics, but she has great cues that help you achieve the most in a pose. Sweaty, stretchy, challenging and yet attainable for the most part (she leaves you in a modified pose and tells you that you can stay there on the few occasions she does something jaw dropping. You wait for what does not seem too long in the modified pose while so does her stuff and then somes back so smoothly to the pose you are holding and asks you to follow along again). It has some unique variations on poses like arms interlaced behind the back for warrior three that I have not seen before.

I plan to do the summer sequences tomorrow. I like having shorter yoga ranging from twenty to forty minutes that I can tack on after a non yoga workout so that I can fit in yoga almost every time I workout.

Thanks for sharing Vee. I have checked out my yoga online before but have never actually purchased any of the downloads.
