For those who have done plyo legs

I have 4 risers and the regular step...no high step topper. I was previewing plyo legs and here is my question: if I can only get either 2 more risers OR a step topper to make a high step, which would be more important for the plyo step? Thanks

I've only done the 1st Plyo legs disc, but my sense is that you would be better off with the high step topper, to get you the height that Cathe and the others have. I also only have 4 risers, but both toppers, and I used the high step topper with no trouble. You just need to aim carefully when you jump up on it.

Okay, I must admit, I haven't looked much beyond the next workout for STS and I plan on doing the Squat Rack for M3, but now I you have peeked my curiousity and I will have to preview the plyo legs. Thanks for motivating me and good luck on those discs; I hope you get the results you desire.

Best,

Michele

I've done all of the plyo legs workouts, and I would suggest getting 2 more risers. You use the full step much more often than you would the high step, and anything they do on the high step you can do on the full step. (Hope that makes sense...)

If you were to use just the high step you would have to aiv very carefully, and when your legs feel like jello towards the end of the workout, and they will, it's hard to be that accurate. I know this from painful experience, which is why I only used the full step.

I am now doing the squat rack leg discs for Meso 3, but i I use the Plyo leg discs as a cardio workouts (the pylo portions only). I would suggest that you purchase the two extra risers as the full step is used more often.

hi ya'll, i started meso 3 today, and i kinda want to try and do both legs, but i just don't know if i can do all those plyo jumps. how many jumps in each section? and you use the topper w/ 3 risers? isn't that kinda high? i am only 5'. i think i might kill myself doing that.:) what are ya'lls observations?

I'm only 4'9" and I never use the same height with the high step as Cathe does for legs. I usually use one less riser and sometimes, two depending on the move.

ok, i did the first one today too. and, i only have 4 risers , so i did the jump ups on 8", but, i am also only 5', and 54 yrs old, and i think i would kill myself trying to jump up on a 12" box. not sure, but there was nothing else i could do, so it will have to work. but, all the rest was good andi loved the workout. was sweatin' like CRAZY.

i have a question. what do ya'll think about doing meso 3 twice? i love these workouts and i want to build some good muscle. i wonder if that would be overkill. what do ya'll think?
