Foam roller workout?

Is there a decent follow-along DVD for the foam roller out there? Or what books do you recommend. I have a roller that I got from Fitness Wholesale, but I would like to make better use of it.

Thanks,

Someone posted a link to a free e book called Self Myofascial Release: Purpose, Methods, and Techniques by Mike Roberstson. I don't have the link anymore , but I printed the book and it is awesome! Hopefully someone else remembers the link????

Thanks,

Lawrence Biscontini has one available at collage video. It's pretty thorough.

The Fitness Fix DVD's by Denise Beatty ( www.fitnessfix.ca ) all have a 15-minute foam-roller workout on (the same workout on each DVD).

Here's a link to clips from the Biscontini workout Tamrahan mentioned : http://www.collagevideo.com/workout-video/the-foam-roller-workout-7827 (Personally, I find his personality very irritating. I had another workout of his and I could barely make it through it because of him.)

There's also a pilates workout for foam roller: http://www.collagevideo.com/workout-video/the-foam-roller-workout-7827

And Kelley Roberts has a foam-roller workout (I find her annoying in this one: she moans and groans with pleasure almost like a porn star at times, and in the workout, she completely skips one move on one leg that she did on the other) : http://www.collagevideo.com/workout-video/keli-roberts-flexibilty-for-the-inflexible-7716

You can also check out youtube (search "foam roller") for some demo exercises (and maybe even put together an entire workout with them).

HTH!

Hi Becky - Here's the link:

Again Faster CrossFit also has some Mic'd Instructor videos on foam rolling techniques:

Thanks fort the links (I'll have to pick up some colored ink before I print out the Ebook, LOL!). Very useful. (and wouldn't you know it, while viewing the foam roller clip, I spied a link to a Concept 2 Rower video clip...I've been contemplating getting one of those for a while, and now I want one even more!)

Kathryn, I love mine. It is old but works perfectly. iTrain has some rowing workouts - not many but some. I like to incorporate rowing, kettlebells and jump rope into a little cardio circuit using a timer too. And of course, CC would work well :) I'm sure a new one would be way cool but I picked mine up at a resale shop for nothing - it is sort of like a local goodwill shop whose profits benefit women and children - not a fitness resale shop. It does not have the computer but I don't miss it either. I'm pretty sure I paid less than $20! Worth it to look around at places like that.
