Hello girls...

I'm still not sure what workout I'm going to do- I'm feeling like I have the body aches of a fever w/out the fever especially in my neck and back- maybe it isn't Power Hour that's making me sore! I ended up doing the floor work of MIC and then did some abs yesterday. Still searching for inspiration...

I had to laugh Pinky- I actually found a dress that I wore in my closet after buying four new ones to try on for my husband. They were all stapless and he kept saying "what about the chicken cutlet?" - he thought that was funny. Spent the a.m. returning dresses and feel much better!

Hi all,

Today I'm feeling pretty wiped out. My 'upset' stomach lasted pretty much all day yesterday so needless to say I didn't retain much in my system. So I'm tired and my lower back is particularly tender. But I gutted out a workout today anyway, Rob Glick's Amazing Step Styles. Even with a preview there were a couple of times where I was standing behind my step going 'huh?'. I think I'll get most of it down next time and I will enjoy it a lot more when I'm feeling a little better.

Hey Brenda- since you didn't have to buy an outfit for your event this past weekend, maybe you can treat yourself to something else! Any new workouts you're eyeing? Yes, I am an enabler!!!

Shywolf- haven't seen you for a few days. Hope things are going okay with you. Have you been able to install the new carpet yet?

Which Lori did the amazing leg work?!?! I read that post and thought to myself 'my legs would spontaneously combust if I did that'. Power on woman!

SOunds like we have 2 not so good girlies on our hands.I hope you guys feel 100% soon.My little girl had the stomach flu last week and I am surprised that I didn't catch it.
I worked out earlier today.I did a 90 min run and 5 parts of Bootcamp,minus the cardio.I figured that the 90min run was enough cardio.I did Kari Andersons curl dvd(abs)before I worked out and half way through I remembered that bootcamp has ab workouts in it.Anyway,I did it both but I am sure it wasn't a big deal.
I have to go to work again at 7:30 so..............I orderd pizza:9 Now I know why I ran so much today;-)

Hey ladies, I'm kinda dragging today. Finally relented and took 1 1/2 Unisom last night for insomnia. It's driving me nuts! But I finally got some nice, undisturbed sleep after the last few nights of waking up every 2-3 hours. The sinus infection is clearing up, but after yesterday's Power Max, these knees are complaining. So I let my upper body take all the work today. Did PS-UB and went as heavy as I could. Felt great! Didn't do too well on the eating afterwards though. I was so ravenous I grabbed some Doritos. Ick.

I might check in again later as well. Brenda, it's funny how your hubby is taking on designer lingo.:) Lori, I hope your daughter feels better. You too, Sabine. You know, we've gotten robots to walk on Mars and yet we still can't eradicate these nasty little bugs...

Hi Guys!

Sorry I have not posted this week . With the 3 day weekend I was busy.
Did not w/o on Mon but did help in removing the vinyl flooring in the kitchen...we have decided to replace with ceremic tile.
We have been cleaning up the subfloors free from tacks and nails they used to install the padding and carpet.
We are still waiting for the money from the home insurance and hopefully this weekend we will start working on laying the tile in the kitchen. Once the ceremic tile is cured then the carpet folks will come in and install the new carpet. I'm thinking all

I'm still w/o in my dd's bedroom but I don't have much room to move around.

I'm continuing the Timesaver DVD , yesterday was #2 and today was #3. I really liked the bicep curls on the ball today but I'm still having a darned time with those pikes :)

I've also been hit by the chandler bug...love it!
 
One last check in- Sabine you ARE an enabler! I could hear my wallet cry in happiness when there was finally a return to be made... Believe me, Nov and Dec were huge splurges for me since I have been pregnant for the last three Christmases- I bought anything that I liked to prove that I wasn't pregnant again! Needless to say, I've put myself on a strict monetary diet.

I missed a workout again today- what's going on? I think you said it, Tracy, somedays there seems to be so much time and there are days that I could use an extra 8 hours. I am still dragging- so tired.

Pinky, I hope you at least enjoyed the Doritos- I just ate 4 white chocolate chip cookies and believe me, I enjoyed themx(

Lori, you did a 90 minute run and 5 parts of Bootcamp? That's quite a workout- good for you! Are you training for anything or just running a lot?

Hi Brenda,
I am "thinking" about training for a marathon.When I run alot I usually get bad knees but I haven't had any sign of it yet.It could be b/c I am running on a treadmill instead of the pavement.Maybe the treadmill takes most of the abuse and not my knees:) If I get any sign of it I will slow down.Thats partly why I left out the Bootcamp cardio.Its such high impact,I figured I better not push it.I am surprised that my appetite hasn't increased b/c of my workouts.
I think I am going to do the other parts of Bootcamp today,with 20min runs in there.I try to go for atleast 1hr,anything above that is just a bonus.
I will chat to you all soon, after I work out:)

Good Morning.....Everything has been going good here. Today I am going to do KPC. I am looking forward to it. I am the one who did all of the LB the other day. That Firm LB tape is only 20 minutes, and they are not near as hard as Cathe. My buns were sore yesterday, and still are a little stiff today. KPC will work them out, I am sure. Hey all, due to a late nite I am wiped out. Instead of w/o this morning I came home and slept for 2 hours ...goodness And I had just wanted to rest my burning eyes. Tons of errands I need to run too so unfortnately I need to use today as a rest day literally because I still feel so tired; and I don't want to w/o half a$$ yanno?
 
Hey everyone, it's the 22nd and we're still posting on the 1/21 thread!:) Doesn't matter... I hope everyone's doing fine. Shywolf, I hope you get some rest. I haven't been sleeping very well for the last two weeks, which is why I've surrendered to sleeping pills as my memory was starting to go. I'd find myself standing in the pantry, wondering what I was supposed to get then remembering that I should be doing laundry!

Anyway... I'm not sure what workout to do today. All I know is I did UB yesterday, so a LB workout would be good. I also need to do cardio, so maybe something like Power Circuits from CTX would be ideal. Hit two stones in one session. My knees are feeling better, and I hope they hold up today. It's not like I'll be doing PS-Legs...

Hi Gals,
Just on my dinner break.I have to work until 9:-( I have to cut a little boys hair next that LOVES to cry.I don't mind that much,as long as he keeps still and I can get my job done.
I did a 80 min run today and PH.I love PH and the music.
Thats about it for me...gotta go.

Actually, the 22nd

Hi all,

Typically I have been taking Thursdays off because this is the day I go work at the elementary school teaching social skills and I have to be there by 8:00 am (UGHx( ). Even though I like to workout in the morning I am not such a glutton for punishment as to wake up at 4:30 just to work out (and I amazed at those Catheites that do, POWER TO YOU!).

I got home from work around 3:00 and had quite a bit of energy. So after putzing around the house for an hour I changed into my workout gear and did PS Legs and Abs. I had an awesome workout! Did the static lunges with 35# barbell (I usually drop down to 25-30#) and was able to complete the one leg on the step hamstring lift things with some reps still left in me! I also felt really strong on the ab segment. I could be completely sore tomorrow but for now I feel terrific. I won't give up my a.m. workouts (I love the mental rush I get to start my day) and it's nice to know that I still have energy later in the day to kick some butt!

Gotta run and get some food in this body of mine! See you all tomorrow!
