Debbie You Rock!

Thank you Debbie!

You are a super nice person to figure this for me!

Now, MAYBE, I can finally see me some abs!

Thank you for everything you do. I always read your post. You always have the greatest advice!

Debbie -- you ask for age when you figure calories, does the number of calories needed, even if you work out, decrease as you get older? I am almost 52, 5'6" and 138. I have gained about 8 pounds I'd like to get rid of because of permenipause and a slow thyroid. I am now doing interval treadmill for 30 minutes 2 days a week, steady treadmill 1 day for 30 minutes, upper body 2 days a week and lower body 1 day a week. I'm hoping that this will trigger a weight loss if I can clean up my diet some. What do you think?

Yes, the calorie numbers do decrease as you age. Due to the fact that your metabolism naturally slows down as you age.

Your rotation looks good, keep it up and see how your body does with it. Good luck!

Thanks Debbie for your reply. I've just decided I have to get more toned and lean and I know weights are the answer! For me, finding that "right" amount of cardio will be the factor to lose the fat though so I was curious about your response. I've enjoyed following all your topics.
