Fitness Freak...Muscle Weight

Ok, I figure your probably the person to go to with this question...I'm very fit, and have been really uping the weights recently in terms of how heavy I go...eating clean...and the scale is going up! Only by about 2-3 lbs....I'm afraid to call it the old muscle weights more than fat thing....I don't want to let it go, but I also think what Im doing is good!!! Yikes help!

Sample Day of Food:
6:00am 1 bowl Fiber one Cereal
8:00am: postworkout Protein shake made with 1/2 banana and water
10:00am: 2 egg whites; more water
12:30pm: spinich salad with chicken and vegies, brown rice...piece of fruit
2:00pm: carrots or nuts (almonds)
5:00 pm: dinner ususally chicken, vegies salad
My workouts are about 4-5x per week, running, spinning, cathe weight tapes....what do you think?

I must be honest I have never been able to do one of cathe's full month rotations or even yours for a few reasons. First I don't own all of the DVD's and 2nd by Day 6 I just feel wipped out, also, I don't do step all that much.
Here's what I have been doing lately
Day 1: Legs:
DAy 2: Cardio 45 min and ABS
DAy 3: Upper Body
Day 4: Cardio 45 min
Day 5: Upper or Legs.
The DVD's I have are:
Butts/Gutts, Legs/Glutes, KPC, Drill Max, Low Impact Circuit, Muscle Max, Muscle Endurance, Boot Camp, GS Legs, GS BI/BK/Sh, 4Day Split, High Step Challenge, HS Circuit, Pyramids,....maybe a few others....I run and have a spinning bike.
I have to tell you sometimes I feel like maybe I train to much. Last year I worked out with a trainer who told me I did not give my self enough recovery time...he and I worked out 3xper week and I did slim out....so I don't know what to do. Again, Im not fat by any means. I have a great upper body and my lower is ok, but I'd love to slim out my hips, but I think Im just a curvy girl!

Well, with what you are doing right now you should be getting adequate recovery time. Two days off a week is good. I usually only take one off but every 8 weeks I'll take an entire week off.

Do you keep track of what you eat daily? How about the macros you eat? I.E. fats, protein and carb grams? You may not be eating the correct amounts which is making your body hold onto water or fat.
 
Im not even sure how I would go about knowing how many macros to eat? Also, I saw that you had posted to someone about different types of bodies, (ie Ecto, meso, endo)...how do you know which type of body you are?
