Fit for Xmas- 12/9

Good Morning everyone,

Had such a hard time getting out of bed today. The clouds are really thick and we're expecting rain to start sometime in the afternoon. It was still pitch black when the alarm went off and I was soooooo tempted to reset the alarm and sleep in. Alas, I made it up, enjoyed my workout quite a bit, and feel good having it under my belt for today.

Although I am technically doing the July rotation, I am making major substitutions to incorporate some workouts I haven't done in a while. Today I did Gay Gasper's 2K01 Two Jammin' workouts in one, the floor hi/lo program. It wasn't too fancy on the choreography but man, did it get my heart thumping!!!! For some reason I remember it being not as intense, but maybe that's because the last time I did it I was still uncertain with the choreography and couldn't give it my all. Well, I gave it my all and had a great workout.

What's everyone else doing today?

Brought some of my homemade split pea and chorizo soup for lunch today. Also have an apple and a mini Special Dark for dessert:).
Will have some of my homemade quiche and some salad tonight. I was quite proud of myself last night. I was so tempted to have some ice cream but resisted and made some hot chocolate instead. Figure I have to be good when it's easiest as next week is going to be really hard, eating wise, with all the office holiday functions.

Hope everyone is doing well. I should be getting my Body Blast DVD's on the 15th. I can hardly wait!!!!
 
Hi everyone,
I didn't have a great couple of days. Trying to get my shopping done and last night had a few glasses of wine with friends, so feeling a bit tired today.
I have my dvd's and in a few hours I am going to do KPC and check out supersets or push and pull.
I am also joing WW online for christmas. My friend(last nights drinking buddy) lost 12 lbs doing the WW online. I'm sold!!!!

This morning was Step Blast. WITH MY DVD's !!!!
They came at 7pm last night. When I had checked the online UPS tracking they said the dvd's were going to be delayed and not arrive until 12/9 (I'm sure it was the snowstorm) but I got them early.

So I went all out with SB and now I'm draggin...Tomorrow is supposed to be step jump and pump - but I don't know if I can handle it.

Well I've been pretty good with my eating and I've resisted dessert and I feel like a stuffed sausage in my pants today. I DON'T GET IT ARGGGGGGGGG.

Hi everyone,

I am back on track now. Last night I did BodyMax sections 1 &2. This morning I got up and did Step Max all three sections. tonight I plan on doing Body Max upper body. tomorrow is Cardio Kicks.

Eating has been pretty good. Not craving anything bad so that is a nice change.

Good evening everyone...
I just finished MIC and ended up doing floor and step. I finished w/ the leg section of Super Body Sculpt cause I couldn't imagine doing any Cathe lifting when I was finished w/cardio.

Eating wasn't bad today. I went to the FitDay web site yesterday and realized I'm not doing as badly as I thought nutritionally although I need to drink more water. If you haven't tried it, log in. It's pretty interesting!

Sabine- nice work getting up! I didn't even hear the alarm go off today which made for a frantic morning. I just gave the end of our Halloween candy to my babysitter since it was too tempting to have around (the kids don't even notice it but it starts to call my name after 9pm).

Joy, I seem to be having a similar problem. I've been excercizing really hard and watching what I'm eating but it doesn't seem to be making a huge difference. Feeling very bulky the last few days. Yuk.

Good luck w/WW Lizzy, especially online. It seems like a really good idea and a smart way to check in.

I forgot to mention the other day I did SJP- not bad after I gave it another chance. Looking forward to everyone getting their DVDs so we can all do it!
 
Hi everyone, it was another cardio day for me today. I think I made a mistake yesterday -- I did the step portions of CTX Power Circuit yesterday, not Step and Intervals. Today I did the cardio portions of All Step and Step and Intervals, a one-hour workout. Did 20 minutes worth of ab work. All this, after running around at the mall doing my Christmas shopping. I am tired.

Looks like all of you had a great day today.:)

Whew!!!! I finally got back on track yesterday. Eating wasd great, and I did Legs and Glutes. All I can say is WOW!!!! I loved this workout at first try. I will be doingf that a couple of times a week. I made the mistake of doing TimeSaver #1 cardio afterwards, and my legs were fried. I don't think I will do cardio after it the next time. Today I am going to do the PP premix of Ub. It is a hour long, then I will do some cardio, or maybe work my abs good. I hate working abs the most. I avoid it like the plague.
