Fit for Xmas 12/5

Good morning everyone...
Today I'm doing either Boot Camp or I'll try Kick, Punch & Crunch again. No school today because of the weather so things are a little off schedule and I'm dragging today- not sure why.

Ugh- ordered Chinese food last night for dinner and I have no idea how it stacked up to the Zone. Maybe that's why I'm tired?

Hi everyone,
I finished MIC with the Hi/Lo last night and did ME this morning. I just have the abs left to do on ME. So I may go home and take a short walk on the treadmill to warm up a little and then do the abs.

Tomorrow is the walk/jog so I am planning on doing TreadMoves training for speed.

Then I will plan out my videos for next week. I looked at all the weeks in the July rotation and I have all but two. For Step Fit I was going to replace it with Step Max and there is another week I think calls for Step Works and I will do Power Max or something.

Hello all,

Today was an unscheduled day off. When my alarm went off I had a throbbing headache and knew that working out would be next to impossible. I got up, took my Excedrin migraine, and went back to bed. My head does feel better although I am very tired and my eyes feel like they do after I cry really hard. So I'm not sure if I'll do a workout when I get home from work or just wait until tomorrow. I left all my equipment set up (I last night so I'd be ready for this morning) so we'll see what happens.

Brenda- Chinese is typically not Zone friendly. However, I am also one for saying that you do still need to enjoy yourself every so often. What I like about the Zone is it's a one meal at a time program. If you indulge at one meal, so what, it's behind you, and you can pick up again at the next meal.

Way to go, Rhonda, on MIC. I don't own that workout and frankly, it kind of scares me:eek:!.

Joy- glad t hear that you got a good workout with Legs and Glutes. I can't wait to try this one myself. Also, have a great weekend if I don't see you around.

Hey Brenda, did you have noodles and rice? Doesn't matter... today's another day.

Did Step Works on a low step very early this morning. I'm saving this afternoon for time off with the hubby. The Last Samurai opens today.:)

Yesterday I did PUB. Did something different with the biceps. Used a barbell for the curls instead of DB's. Lots of switching plates, but that was a welcome break from the pain.:) If I can, I'll try Leaner Legs tomorrow. My knees are feeling mighty funky today. Tight and rundown. My last LB weight workout was Tuesday...

Hello everybody,

A tip of the hat to Rhonda and Brenda for surviving MIC yesterday. That workout has a great big dread factor for me.

Lori, I'm gonna fool around with that oatmeal bar you make and see if I can adapt it using the protein powder I have. I was going to make some oatmeal this am and just couldn't face it, but I was wishing I had one of your bars this morning.

Lizzy, flaxseed oil has omega 3 fatty acids - the good kind. I can't remember what you get from 3's and 6's but its gonna keep you young and healthy and have good cholesterol. I've read where people make salad dressing with it. It has to be cold pressed and it has to be fresh and kept refridgerated. If it is heated the good stuff is destroyed. If it is not fresh it tastes fishy and I think the good stuff has deteriorated. I tried it and did NOT like it at all.

I was thinking about another topic where the poster questioned the focus of the December BB rotation. Also I was reading AJ's post on a suggestion for a title for the next series. With all this in mind, I think the focus should be in the title: "December rotation - Body Blast your A$$ off" My legs and glutes are crying !!! (whoa) because I've actually completed week one of the December rotation.

It was just a coincidence that I happen to do the first 3 workouts before seeing the december rotation...So this AM was supersets. Only the second time I've done it. I heavied up and it made quite a difference. I also managed to do the preacher curls on the ball this time.

BTW Kick Punch and Crunch is great. Cathe's form is beautiful. Step Jump and pump - isn't my favorite style, so I'm not a good one to comment. The step part is fun but only 20 minutes long.

OKAY I'm done yakkin'

Actually, I had the steamed chicken and vegetables w/out rice but I did have a 3 steamed vegetable dumplings. I also had a few bites of my DH's Kung pao chicken, a bite of a spring roll. Oh yeah, the 2 glasses of champagne and a small piece of leftover apple pie.

Hmm...

Hi again,
Just wanted to add that I usually fell kind of crummy after eating chinese, and I know it is because it is so salty. I drink and drink but not much comes out. Then a day later I p & P and feel better...

Good point Joy- I may not have been paying a lot of attention before and now I'm learning about how I react. It's never a good sign when you need to get up in the middle of the night for a drink of water...
I'm trying to drink as much as possible today to make up for the sodium! Also, the MSG can't be good.

Sabine- hope you're feeling better.
 
terribly busy days for today and tomorrowe. Today I fell off the points wagon. i have 2 Christmas deals, and it is so hard, I just am going to try to eat healthy w/ small portions. I did the Firm this morning, but my BB DVD's should be arriving today. Tomorrow I am going to start on dec.'s rotation. I probably will not be on tomorrow, so have a good weekend everyone.
