Understood and I agree 100%!:)

My DH is VERY THIN and has struggled with it all of his life. He HATES it.

fit mom-

why do you think I knew what the poster was saying? lol! As a lady with strong, muscular, and slightly above the American ideal for leg size knows, it can be empowering to realize that larger legs can be perceived as fit and attractive:)

Hey there.

That post was not directed at you. I was just expanding one someone else's opinnion that I agreed with and it happened to fall below yours when I hit the "post message" button. :)

Just inserting a:)here for you joyjoy. There have been posters in the past who seemed to go out of their way to make rude, generalized satements about certain types of people, but you're not one of them. I THINK I understand what you are trying to say and I understand that it can often be hard to express oneself through the written word.

I was not actually offended by the original post, but kind of puzzled as to why the thread title was worded as it was and so I posted:

"Fit chicks do not have skinny legs!" is quite an inaccurately inclusive statement. :)

See, there's a smiley at the end. I don't post smileys when offended.:D

Of course, she didn't mean anything by it. :) And I for one am delighted to get to offer myself as a chicken-legged fit chick. My dad, from whom I inherited these legs, used to tease me mercilessly about their skinniness. Thanks to Cathe, I can now offer a chicken leg with some muscle on it. Yay, Cathe! I work out like a maniac to get that muscle, let me tell you. I may not be much to look at but take a squeeze and I am solid, if small, muscle. :)
Right now I am inordinantly proud of the work I have done on my triceps and shoulders since they are shaping up nicely and I can live in tank tops to show them off. Pyramids, Gym Style, Muscle Max -- I am talking two to three strength workouts per week. That's what it takes to be an ecto and to lay down good muscle but it can be done!.

Gosh Bobbi, you posted my life story! :7

cluck, cluck

ETA: Now I see your second post ^ - I do have some boobs and a little butt.:p :7 :+

Now I am jealous, Melody! I am so bereft in the bosom department, I have had a hard time finding any bra that fits. Can the powers that be not know that some of us are hard put to fill an A cup? I need a new classification, methinks. A minus minus maybe. Okay, A minus, minus, minus. *shispers "minus"* I am sporting a 32 A from the girls' department at Target ( I pronounce it Targhay) and I put little pads in there so my bosom can compete with my ribcage which is that of a burley man. http://www.clicksmilies.com/s0105/traurig/sad-smiley-061.gif The lack of booty bothers me not at all.

If I could chose, I would have Jai's muscularity and my height or better still, be six feet tall. My latest thing is to attempt (again) to get a six pack, since I am very lean right now. I am off to do Bootcamp to fulfill that a dream. I am actually very happy with my results of late, which is a boon but, I never lose that eternal optimism that I will somehow get to be more bulky and muscular. I have a good feeling about it right now!

I have the same "dream" and I am currently working on a six pack and know that I HAVE to stop cheating on the eating (sweet freak here), even though weight isn't an issue.
