Fish

Is it safe to eat fish everyday of the week? For example can of tuna one day, salmon, cod fish, talapia, and then shrimp?

I don't really know but I would be concerned about mercury poisoning. There are lists around about which fish is safe to eat and how often. Have no idea of how accurate they are.

Your rotation should be fine. Generally it is the larger, predatory fish (shark, swordfish, king mackerel) that have higher mercury levels. The people who should be most concerned about mercury are women who are in their childbearing years and young children.

Check out the following link, note that the advice here is for women who are pregnant, might become pregnant and young children. If you are not at risk of becoming pregnant, the guidelines are much more lenient:

Keep in mind when choosing tuna that light tuna has lower mercury levels than albacore tuna.

Personally I wouldn't eat any amount of anything containing mercury, which is a neurotoxin that your body stores forever, and nearly all fish and shellfish have at least trace amounts of it. It's just too risky IMHO.

Seriously? I eat quite a bit. Also, When Jen Hendershott won first in Fitness at The Arnold she said she credited A LOT of tuna.

Scary.
