Fist off, let me start by saying that we can't thank you all enough for your patience on finally receiving this info on the hotel. You guys have been amazingly patient and words cannot tell you how much that means to us. We have never stopped working on getting these details since day ONE.We just happened to encounter quite a few bumps along the way. But, all is GOOD! :7

Here are the first set of details. SHOULD we need another hotel, we will be using one right across the street from the Ramada Plaza. Sooo, don't panic if this hotel fills.

Once this hotel fills, we may have to move onto another hotel right across the street which we will have the info for that real soon. That's great. Glad to hear you and 3 of your crazy friends have booked your room.

We're going to have sooo much fun, everyone! Hmmmm. Do you think any of us will get any sleep? When was the last time you were at a friend's house attending a slumber party? :eek:

LOL! When I called the lady said, Please don't hang up but I need you to hold because there are two more ladies booking this event. Maybe you know one of them...Angela? I just start laughing and said, no this'll be my first time meeting her. I've never seen any of the women I'm meeting! This is going to be a blast!
 
That's sooo funny! This poor lady should just answer the phone as "Are you attending the Cathe Road Trip?" LOL

Christi, that is soo funny! It must seem very odd to someone to think that we are all excited about meeting up with 109 other people we have never laid eyes on! Can't wait!!!

Thank you so much for an unbelievable job on this. I can't imagine it was exactly easy to secure that many rooms 6 weeks before the event, plus the room rate is so cheap! I called this morning and it was very smooth--took about 2 minutes! Thanks again!:D :D :D
 
I'm so glad to hear that the reserving of your rooms is going so smoothly. The gentleman I worked with on the hotel knows that there are 110 attendees but not sure the gal at the phone knows! :7 Terry, thanks for letting me know! I deleted it because it was subject titled Transportation and I thought it was for an airlines site!!! I just retrieved it. We are in the process of working on the transportation right now. We are going thru our paper work to see who all is driving cars/renting cars and to determine if we can triple & quadruple up. We will see what we can work out. Thanks for the link for the shuttle. We had even thought of maybe renting a few 15 passenger vans?? Not sure at this point. We will keep you all posted. 41 Days-To-Go!!!

Can you tell me what hotel is the one that is right across the street? I just called this one and was told there are no more king rooms, only rooms w/ 2 doubles.

SECOND HOTEL INFO COMING SHORTLY

Amy and Trippers,

Deb's on the phone this morning with our group reservation dude at the Ramada Plaza, finalizing the logistical details so that you can begin booking at the second hotel. More info on that shortly.

In the meantime, you guys, please know that the rooms with 2 doubles are the same price as the rooms with king beds. If you don't care which you get, by all means just grab one of the rooms with 2 doubles. But if you REALLY want a king bed room, hold on because we'll get it for you at the second hotel.
